porn!

im having alittle problem with porn on my machine. it keeps changing my home page to vroomsearch.com. ive seached my computer and found no files with that, but the registry had a few instances of it. i took them out, but it still keeps popping up.
its really getting under my skin, specially when my teen and pre-teen nephews, not to mention my mom get on it and there is a huge dick being sucked on a 19" screen.

ive ran cshredder and ad-aware and evidence eliminator, but i still get it in the screen.

any suggestions?

but im positive that they havent been visited for a little while now. then it changes my shit around again. getting frustrated and im about to lock that shit down.

Try X cleaner it's a good little program. it gets rid of all that kind of stuff.

Get Spyware (that's the name of the software), it costs a little bit but it has protection for your homepage as well as constant updates for the new adware and trojans as they come out.

AVG is also a good free virus protector and eliminator. Ad-Aware and AVG just came out with newer versions. MAke sure your up to date on them. Spybot also works well.

download hijack this. it searches for and rips out any filesthat hijack your home page and getting rid of pop ups.
