Pope: Market capitalism has failed in pandemic, needs reform

Of course it needs reform. The massive, comical fraud and excesses of the Meltdown should have taught us that.

Instead, we've chosen to ignore what we should have learned. And this "recovery" has been historically uneven. Those with with the highest net worth have done fabulously well, while the rest have sunk.

No doubt our adversaries are very thankful for that.

the first theory that must go is open borders, because globalism caused the pandemic.

didn't see that coming did ya? you agree!

Capitalism systemically concentrates wealth at the top of society. The solution: massive wealth redistribution that attacks disparities across the board

Catholicism is nothing but two thousand years of Communism. The atheism of Marx and Lenin consists in obeisance to the See of Rome and defiance of any Higher Power than that of an earthly Pope's dictatorship of the proletariat masses.

Yea, government corruption isn't big enough. We need MORE government to "fix" the problem, right, comrade?

Whenever the American people suffer a calamity, politicians take advantage to enrich themselves and their cronies, which puts the American people deeper in the hole.

No, politicians and government officials abuse their power to assist private organizations with attaining and maintaining monopolies, to the detriment of the people. Leftists then claim that we need MORE government to "fix" the problem.

Exactly. The govt is the problem.

Bullshit, capitalism has built the biggest middle class the world has ever seen.

Socialism is the system that has failed time and time again, leaving everyone in poverty, except of course the ultra wealthy elite that run the country or pay the leaders off.

Politicians tell us this is "capitalism."

Trader makes $700 million by repeatedly claiming dividend tax refunds on single holdings of stock. Governments paid up billions.
