A number of the country's most Republican-leaning states have some of the greatest percentage of their population on Medicaid.
While Trump has said that Medicaid would remain "untouched," the prospect of funding cuts to the program would not only impact millions of Americans but also many of his own supporters.
After the Republican budget proposal was released last week, there was widespread concern that it could result in millions of Americans losing access to Medicaid as the program's funding might have been cut by billions of dollars in order to reduce government spending.

So what? If that is true why aren't red states screaming like stuck pigs like the democrats?
Maybe the subsidies aren't the issue?
Maybe the democrats just want illegals to get Medicaid?

That’s not how insurance works. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

The ACA is complicated. Insurance plan costs are based on age and smoking status. They don’t charge you more to offer people cheaper plans.

You don’t know what YOU are talking about. Costs were inflated for some people because they had to make uo the difference from giving free plans to others.

I was paying $500 a month for insurance, and for better coverage, before Obamacare. Once I was forced onto Obamacare, my premiums almost doubled and the deductible tripled.
