Again, I have to chuckle at how so many simply do not get the Palin deal and under estimate her in so many areas. Further, for Palin it is entirely too early to tell or even assume anything. First is the personal growth issues and then of course all of the others!

Most people don't like to see someone picked on, and its clear that is how many view sarah palin now.

As usual, the far left went too far and now people feel she may have something when she says she was not treated fairly.

Its a typical reaction to bullies, people start to step back and say what are they REALLY up too, and opinions of the target change for the better.

And repeating over and over Obama was friend's with terrorist over and over is not going to far.
Both sides went too far this election.

Thats the funny thing about Palin calling Dems socialist. She spread the wealth to Alaskans who don't deserve and didn't earn it.

Plus I have a friend who's father is Todd's friend and union leader at BP. My friend's dad also voted for Obama.

I actually was born in northern Idaho, don't tell anyone and we moved to Spokane when I was four.
Just say half my family is republican, my brother actually gave me the "liberalism is destroying american" speech last weekend.

I only say "liberals" because that's what they go by...to me they're socialists. Your brother should've known to use the right term when giving you that speech. I'm not republican, I'm an independent but definitley to the right on economic issues and I really hate PC bullshit. As far as social conservatism, I'm not much of one. I'll put it like this...let's say the supreme court says gays have the right to marry and it doesn't go up for vote..I wouldn't care. But if they asked me to vote on it, I wouldn't support gay marriage, I don't agree with them getting the same benefits as hetero marriages.

Some may consider the distribution of tax surpluses a republican concept while the method for distributing the surplus (equal amount for each person) a non-republican concept. Is equal distribution a liberal concept, libertarian or other?

I don't have a problem with some social programs, I just think they are abused to often and some of them just aren't worth keeping around. As far as the gay marriage thing, if they adopt kids, then I could see them getting some of the same benefits as hetero marriages.

Luckly I was smart enough to only take one class summer quarter. Just say it is a little hard to write a paper when you have a one and half year old running up and pushing keys every few seconds. He has gone into place on my laptop that I never knew existed, same thing with my cell phone.
