I don't know if he's had it for "years", but he just didn't find out on Sunday Afternoon.

People do have simple screening tests for PSA, but old guys that are Biden's age, particularly those who have been senile for many years usually don't get them.

IMHO, he 's known about this for months, but not necessarily years.
My doctor and me met this week. I asked him if I should have the PSA test and he said no. He said once a person reaches 70 and does not have it, they don't need it.

My VA doctor said something similar. If one gets the colonoscopy my on schedule, it's what to do. He said the PSA is not needed.

you have a prostate?....are you a tranny?....
Does it say I wrote the article?

I am a very happy 86 year old male. My doctor perhaps is wrong, so let's see what the mayo clinic has to say.

According to Mayo Clinic, for men with an average risk of prostate cancer, experts generally recommend discussing prostate cancer screening, including a PSA test, around age 50. For men with an increased risk, this discussion should happen sooner, around age 40. Screening is often discontinued around age 70 or if other serious medical conditions limit life expectancy, but some may continue depending on their health.

Factors to consider for individual screening decisions:
  • Age: While the general guidelines recommend starting at 55, discussions about screening should begin earlier (around age 40) for those at higher risk.

  • Risk Factors: Increased risk factors include family history of prostate cancer, African-American ancestry, and other genetic predispositions.

  • Individual Preferences: Personal values and preferences play a role in the decision to screen.

  • Medical History: Personal and family medical history should be considered.

  • Overall Health: For older men, the decision to continue screening should be made in consultation with their healthcare provider, considering their overall health and life expectancy.
Important Notes:
  • The PSA test is a screening tool, not a diagnostic tool.

men generally don't get tested for prostate cancer after the age of 70, if there isn't any family history. dark brandon, being an old man, probably had symptoms like any old man that has urinary problems, etc.

give it a rest. yer chosen one is outa his f'n mind but but BIDEN!!!!! lol ...

Biden is senile, and has been daft for many years.

Often oldtimers who have brittle brains, don't get screening PSA tests. Docs figure that they are already on their last legs, and prostrate cancer takes a sufficiently long time to develop, it won't need treated until the patient is 6 feet under.

PSA isn't a test for cancer at all. Its a screening test to see if you should be referred to the urologist to get test from prostrate cancer.
