Poll Finds Most Democrats Prefer Socialism

The actual socialists should be thanking the Right for their help in misapplying capitalism and making it so unattractive to so many.

But who knows what definition of socialism people are using. I can't get anyone here to provide one.

The Trumpsters like to scare each other.

The brand that seems to appeal to you people most is the National variety Hitler implemented.

Nope... Some pay in some don't...

Remeber when they called Obamacare Socialism...

In the UK not everyone pays for the NHS, it is separate payment put against your wages...

Yet everyone can spend from it..

I understand the concept, it looks like you're confused.

Luddites Will Be Back to Prevent Passive Acceptance of the Job-Killer Side

New inventions mostly create jobs. The invention of the telephone created millions of jobs and put practically nobody out of work. Inventions that destroyed jobs freed workers for inventions that net-created jobs. There better be a tradeoff instead of welfare, or we will need to destroy property, just as Sarah Connor tried to destroy Skynet.

Things like cell phone's and IPads created lots of jobs. In other low wage countries.

now - you won't find many democrats providing proof they are not - simply saying they are not and now attacking FAUX NEWS LOL.

funny they do it but they won't admit that's what it is.
No, no, no, you don't understand. They don't prefer Socialism, they prefer Democratic Socialism - where you give the government complete control over everything and everyone but we'll still vote on it every election so, not to worry, nothing can go wrong with having government control everyone and everything.

They are the ones looking at Europe and understand Social Democracy is not to be feared...

Germany has Free Education, as good as Universal Healthcare, large social safety net and ran a large surplus from 2012 to 2019... Low unemployment and higher ion the happiness index...

They are saying with what is wrong with that..
Social democracy is not socialism. It's not state ownership but more about regulation (you know, government red tape). It's kinda between capitalism and socialism. I believe Bernie Sanders was confused believing Scandinavia was socialist.

So how do you obtain the extra welfare in Scandinavia? Taxation. So go live there and the hairs on your sex organ will cringe at what you need to pay. That's the problem with socialist dreamers, they think it's all free, economics is not their strength.

It's known as the Scandinavian model and also the Nordic model. Internet search it and have a read. Many feel it's not desirable.

You mean the 1000 year Roman Empire?

5. Government corruption and political instability

If Rome’s sheer size made it difficult to govern, ineffective and inconsistent leadership only served to magnify the problem. Being the Roman emperor had always been a particularly dangerous job, but during the tumultuous second and third centuries it nearly became a death sentence. Civil war thrust the empire into chaos, and more than 20 men took the throne in the span of only 75 years, usually after the murder of their predecessor. The Praetorian Guard—the emperor’s personal bodyguards—assassinated and installed new sovereigns at will, and once even auctioned the spot off to the highest bidder. The political rot also extended to the Roman Senate, which failed to temper the excesses of the emperors due to its own widespread corruption and incompetence. As the situation worsened, civic pride waned and many Roman citizens lost trust in their leadership.

Some striking parallels are taking place right here today.

Sweatshoppers Are No Better Than Chopshoppers

Outsourcing, including the retailers who buy this cheap junk for huge profit margins, is treason. It must be punished severely and retroactively. The Walmart parasites, HeirHeads who never worked a day in their lives, have $150 billion of loot that we must confiscate.

The differences between the parties in the United States are no longer just about what kind of policy should be pursued. In fact, the supporters of the Democrats want a change of the state system in the United States, while having no idea what socialism is and considering as such, the social states in the EU, built so for the ideological struggle with the USSR.

When talking about equalizing income inequality between Americans, the Democrats are not referring to the organization of an orphanage on the Obama estate, but to the elimination of the US middle class and small and medium-sized businesses by increasing taxes. And the digital giants, which are the main sponsors of the US Democratic Party, did not pay taxes in the US (which outraged Trump and which he wanted to put an end to), and will not pay, despite the fact that they were the ones who took the main "cream" from the coronavirus crisis on shares with pharmaceutical giants.

That is, under the fairy tales about the elimination of social inequality in the United States, the middle class will be eliminated, which could at least theoretically challenge the establishment, and an Iron heel society will be created. Moreover, it will be said that this is socialism, since they will create some free schools and some free medicine.

Bet polls will find most republicans prefer an authoritarian oligarchy.
I am a libertarian but even I prefer a little law and order. I keep seeing videos of gang members shooting people in the middle of the day in places like New York City and shoplifters casually strolling out of drug stores with shopping carts full of merchandise they shoplifted.

This is no way to run a nation.

I will however agree that we no longer live in a well functioning representative democracy or constitutional republic. The corrupt D.C. Swamp has made this nation a banana republic or as you call it “an authoritarian oligarchy.”

According to a new phax poll out today Americans also support the following:

"Do you favor or oppose the U.S. Senate’s $3.5 trillion infrastructure package? The response was that a significant majority of the American people support the bill 56% to 38%

  • Do you approve of the job Joe Biden is doing as president? Yes: 53 - No: 46
  • Do you approve of the way Joe Biden is handling the coronavirus pandemic? Yes: 54 - No: 42
  • Do you favor the U.S. Senate’s $1 trillion infrastructure package? Yes: 62 - No: 30
  • Do you favor proof of a coronavirus vaccine for indoor activities? Yes: 50 - No: 46
  • Have you gotten vaccinated against coronavirus? Yes: 69 - No: 29 (Biden voters: 86 - Trump voters: 54)
  • Do you think schools should be allowed to require teachers and students to either wear a mask or provide proof of a coronavirus vaccine? Yes: 54 - No: 31

Enjoy
Most polls are conducted where the bulk of people congregate....the inner-cities. As most large metropolitan centers are Democrat, any poll done there is obviously going to favor the Democrat standings.
As for the huge infrastructure bill, our National Debt is out of control and all experts will tell you that when a National Debt exceeds the GDP, economic collapse is inevitable, as it cannot be sustained. Our nation has reached that point. The only thing nations have done to try and counter this is to "print more money," thus driving down the currency's value in the market and the reason people end up carrying a wheelbarrow full of worthless paper money thus to purchase a few items.

That makes us sad, poster Batcat.
It is regrettable that the life you crafted for you and your family has turned out so unsatisfying.

I'd urge you to buck-up, things are seldom as bad as you imagine. You may be able to salvage a happier, more fulfilling life with a different, or increased, effort. Even, maybe, in Canada, or Australia, New Zealand, and, I'm sure, other international venues.

We have friends...ex-pats....who live in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and frequently implore us to move down there with them. Per them, the living is delightful there with a huge ex-pat community.

So, maybe consider being an ex-pat if your disgust with the United States of America gets to such a point.

Good luck.

Sure, has there been a run on wheelbarrows?

Also, because you disagreed with the poll results you question how the poll was done?

I'm not disagreeing with the poll results, only saying that these polls are conducted in large metropolitan areas, where you don't find large numbers of republicans.

I posting that you’re wrong about how polling companies poll.

You making excuses.
