Maybe someday we will resort to Capitalism to be able to determine if it's better or not. Until then the taxpayers will remain on the hook for propping up the markets.
The actual socialists should be thanking the Right for their help in misapplying capitalism and making it so unattractive to so many.

But who knows what definition of socialism people are using. I can't get anyone here to provide one.

The Trumpsters like to scare each other.

Big Government is in bed with Capitalist/Corporate interests. They do not like each other either. And the Chinese Government has an influence.

Thats a good point. Nobody in that poll has ever experienced capitalism, unfortunately.
Article should be "most democrats prefer socialism to corporatism"

now - you won't find many democrats providing proof they are not - simply saying they are not and now attacking FAUX NEWS LOL.

funny they do it but they won't admit that's what it is.
If you pay taxes you support socialism too.

It has an influence with the capitalists and corporatist that invest their manufacturing in China. And those capitalist/corporations influence politicians with their company's campaign donations.

China's influence is not direct, it's through a back door....imo.

Well, I prefer....and, in fact....enjoy the 'socialism' of a community fire department, where I pay for putting out other peoples fires when I have never called them myself for a fire, or an emergency.

I prefer the socialism of the American Social Security system that supports so many many elderly folks who never earned enough to sock away a nest egg that could carry them into their golden years.

I prefer the socialism of a publicly funded military that I have never asked to protect me from an invader to my community, state, or home.

I kinda like the socialism of paying for bridges and highways ....even for those bridges and highways I never use.

I'm OK, with the American socialism of paying significant taxes to educate other people's children.

I'm fairly pleased with the American socialism of Medicare, that pays for a lot of my medical stuff.

I'm fairly certain I could continue this list for quite a bit more, but..........but, hopefully, you get the point.
