What about the idea of no sale without a state issued weapons permit? How many gun owners drive a car? How about a uniform background check, performed by the states, and a little symbol on your ID that says you're cool to buy a gun?

Retailers and gun shows could even swipe the ID's magnetic strips to determine if a customer has lost their gun privileges recently.

I already told you that I think there are about 100,000,000 gun owners in America. That is much greater than 10%. Your limited capacity prevents you from understanding that which has been plainly explained to you. More than 10% of these gun owners.....myself included....know that we have inneffective and incomplete background checks. We know that lots and lots of guns are sold without background checks. 90% of Americans have some level of common sense. The 10% is made up of crazy dummies like you.

We also know that the legislation in question was weak and incomplete. But we think it is at least a step in the right direction. An affirmation of our intention to DEAL WITH GUN VIOLENCE in this country. .

Now....your childish point of view has got you repeating this 10% mantra.....but your original claim is that ONLY 4% of Americans think that gun regulations are an important issue. Will you now admit that you are wrong and lost this debate?

The very obvious fact (well, obvious to anyone with even the most basic grasp of statistics) that you've drawn the completely wrong conclusion from your own posted numbers is surely proof enough.

Then, the fact that the poll results that you posted, and claimed were evidence that support for gun control was way less than 90%, were actually the results of a completely different question than the 90% one.

And even more then, when you post poll results that you claim proves your point, but also dismiss other poll results that you don't like because they're wrong without any proof except that you know better.

And then once again, when you claim to be able to speak authoritatively for all gun owners when you have no idea at all what all gun owners think.

Al of these points and more go to the indisputable conclusion that you have completely failed in any point that you were trying to make in this thread.
