The depth of conservative hate goes much deeper than that PC. It plays out in every thread of this forum.
"Conservatism, though a necessary element in any stable society, is not a social program; in its paternalistic, nationalistic and power adoring tendencies it is often closer to socialism than true liberalism; and with its traditionalistic, anti-intellectual, and often mystical propensities it will never, except in short periods of disillusionment, appeal to the young and all those others who believe that some changes are desirable if this world is to become a better place."
Friedrich August von Hayek-The Road to Serfdom
"In general, it can probably be said that the conservative does not object to coercion or arbitrary power so long as it is used for what he regards as the right purposes. He believes that if government is in the hands of decent men, it ought not to be too much restricted by rigid rules. Since he is essentially opportunist and lacks principles..."

What, exactly, is wrong with 'the deep hatred' of those who pull a gun on law enforcement officers?
Are you saying that you feel otherwise?
Put on your big boy pants....or at least turn the hospital gown with the opening to the back....and answer the question.
Pulling a gun on a police officer is a stupid move. I understand why he was shot, but I just can't celebrate the man's demise.
Check out the replies by sk00k...I rest my case...
I am sure you will find the very same hatred for Michael Brown and even Eric Garner...
Conservatism is a cancer on mankind.
Eric Garner is not related....
...but,I'll cop to (pun intended) being elated that it was Brown and not Wilson who bought the farm.
Liberalism is the cause, and the explanation.
Liberals have controlled the ten poorest large cities in the nation for half a century.
In the 513 days between Trayvon Martin's death, and the verdict, 11,106 African-Americans were murdered by other African-Americans.
Liberals, in my experience, are fearful folks who need the bodyguard of big government because they are vulnerable, battered emotional hypochondriacs....they need to insure themselves against every societal misadventure that could occur. The call that 'empathy,' but it's actually neurosis. They have some sort of metaphorical bullet lodged near their heart, just waiting for a slight move which will end it all! Thus, the overwhelming feeling of incipient failure, and apprehension. And, recognizing their own weakness, they lash out at those willing to depend on themselves....
...as you just did.
Eric Garner is related, because even he has been demonized by some on the right.
Starting with a lie is so typical of the right wing mind. Facts are unimportant so long as what you want to believe is supported by a statement.

One of the problems with you theory are the conservatives who keep professing the depth and scope of conservative hate in between our posts. I have yet to see a conservative exhibit empathy, or even awareness of the possibility that there is more to an incident than authority's side. But authority is worshiped by you folks and it must not be questioned. Ironic that it puts you on the side of government. But no one ever accused conservatives of self awareness.
And you have a real problem with the liberal 'fear' accusation...it has been proven that the conservative mind is controlled mostly by fear.
Conservatives Big on Fear, Brain Study Finds
Are people born conservative?

Peering inside the
brain with MRI scans, researchers at University College London found that self-described
conservative students had a larger amygdala than liberals. The amygdala is an almond-shaped structure deep in the brain that is active during states of
fear and anxiety. Liberals had more gray matter at least in the anterior cingulate cortex, a region of the brain that helps people cope with complexity.
Psychology Today
Liberalism is trust of the people, tempered by prudence; conservatism, distrust of people, tempered by fear.
