An example would be borrowing Dennis Prager's opinion, as proof of your own, while failing to point out that Prager's opinion might also be biased and unsupported.
They were walking through the parking lot after exiting the store. Something everybody does when they exit the store. Tell me where in that there is probably suspicion for the police to be pulling up into their path and jumping out of his car? Is walking on private property a crime? Should I start ordering my food from Amazon because being out in the line of sight of the police is all the reason they need to harass me?

I didn't accuse you of plaigarism, in fact acknowledged borrowing is the antithesis of plagiarism , as in this definition: "plagiarism can be avoided, however, by citing sources. Simply acknowledging that certain material has been borrowed and providing your audience with the information necessary to find that source is usually enough to prevent plagiarism."
