Poleece stops, it's all about attitude.

I think that STOP means stop. And I think that if you do not come to a complete stop at the STOP sign, you've broken a traffic law which, in many cases, often results in endangering other law abiding motor vehicle operators.

I'm not really interested in indulging in your race based dialogue. I find no value in it unless someone was proven to be shaken down purely on the basis of his or her race.
Says the guy who never had a cop lying in wait nail him for some BS that everybody does.

Anyone who is dumb enough to not stop at a STOP sign (twice in this case) when there's a cop right behind them qualifies for dumb fuck of the year.

Holy Sheep Sugar. Do you never go over the speed limit, too?

Nope. The stuff I like to drive is just asking to be pulled over regardless. On the local roads anyway. It's not worth it.

If I wanna speed, I'll go to the track.

Interstate you kind of have to run with traffic, so they don't tend to bother you unless you're off the charts and clearly doing it just to do it.

But I'm sure as shit not gonna blow two STOP signs in a row with a cop right behind me. Duh...

Now in my younger years, when I didn't really have a pot to piss in to speak of, I did some dumb stuff. But those were the young days. Those days are gone. In my older years, I've got a pot to piss in, so it's just not worth it.

That wouldn't be a good idea. Not gonna say I didn't blow 3 today, but whatever. :dunno:
There's a difference. I have silence around me, and there's something else I'm not going to reveal.
Really that's something I'm only going to tell to the right people.
Any stop signs I blew today had zero cars coming for 300 yards.
That's why I blew them.

Wow, isn't that giving the cop way too much power? If you are admitting that who gets a ticket is largely a factor of the officer's mood, then is that really justice?

Last time I was pulled over, I had a burned-out headlight. I politely told the officer I had an appointment the next day to get it fixed. (Ah, for the good old days when you could fix a headlight yourself.) I also suggested that if I could put on the High-beams, that might solve the problem. So he let me off with a warning.

Now, if I had been black, and wasn't polite, does that make it right for him to give me a ticket?
Put me in handcuffs like they did to this woman (who was hardly a threat despite her attitude)
Put a bullet in me for shits and grins?

The police do this shit, and then they wonder why they are hated in certain communities.
How do you know the cop would have given a black person a ticket? You are really good at imagining scenarios that support your prejudices.

My son is almost thirty and drives a bit foolishly. I sometimes go with him some place and I'm stuck on the passenger side. Which I hate.

The whole time I'm like the speed limit's 40 and you're going 50.
Get off that guy's ass, if he slams on his brakes, you're gonna be the one with the ticket and the points and the insurance raise. Watch all of the traffic in front of you, not just the asshole directly in front of you. Nice turn signal, dumb ass, try using it next time.

He needs to have a hotrodded puke-green Nova spin out right in front of him in traffic on a main drag one time.

As your mother probably said, "if a bunch of other people jumped off a bridge, would you"? Cops can't ticket everyone but that doesn't excuse YOU from violating the law.

Seriously, eat a bag of dicks.

There was another thread on this, but it all comes back to that right there, I tell ya wut.
Some of the best advice ever on the internet.
It might have been mildly amusing the first time. It was tiresome the second time. The thousandth time is the nine-hundred-ninetieth time it is idiotic.

Bruh, I have idled past 9 cops that were speed trapping, no, that's not true. I cut lane on 9 vehicles and 9 cops were across the road looking for anything and speedtrapping. I pulled out behind a guy they pulled over for nothing and I gunned it right in their faces
and took off.
They couldn't touch me. They never got me.
Some old lady in a "Type-10" whatever almost did, and that was the end of that.
Several years later.
Something like this, but looking at the backside of it:
iu

And then you're goin' 35-38 and that just pulled slap the fuck right out in front of you.
If you continue straight, best bet is their front windshield may stop you from going all the way through and they run you over. Yeah. Or you could jerk it to the right, slide past them on the rear brake, narrowly avoid a guy wire with your leg, then jerk it back out in front of them, and they were oblivious the whole time.
People do not see you on 2-wheeled things. I only rode a few times after that.
The 2nd thing is what happened with me, btw. The jerk it to the right thing.
I stopped riding within 2 weeks after that. It was just the way it happened.
I thought I knew stuff, but I didn't know that.
It ain't fun when you only have half a second.
You go on and let the good times roll, I'll be OK.
I did a lot of crazy stuff anyways, best not to push the luck.

No one likes to get a ticket of be stopped, but it is what it is. The place to argue is in court, not in the middle of the street. The cop would probably have given her a warning until she turned into Beth Dutton. This is a state senator, and she really has some attitude, and obviously is good at muddying a simple issue. Always the victim, playing dumb and just accepting the answered she wants. She is probably so filled with self importance she won't realize the cop didn't book her, and thinks her street shit saved her, unless that other man tries to explain it to her. She was very lucky he showed up, but probably didn't learn anything, it just reinforced her cultural beliefs.

She should mind her tone and know her place.

My wife had to attend a safe driving course to keep her points because she didn't signal, and she had a perfect record all her life and was really hard on herself. At the class there were people there that told her that this class and the fines were just part of commuting and they weren't going to stop speeding or blowing red lights. If you get stopped, and you think you are in the right, go to court. When a cop stops you, it is between them and you all the other drivers around, George Can't Breath, the KKK, Snoop Dog, Channel 4 news, the guy next door, or anyone else has nothing to do with it. Give respect and more than likely you will get respect. You can't try to bully or attack someone and then claim you're being disrespected unless that's how you roll, in which case good luck.

I don’t understand hth people argue with cops in the first place. Whatever happened to respect for authority? Civil behavior?
