It's also a bad idea since it would be very expensive, the weapons would be vulnerable to ballistic missiles since they would be so close to Russia, and it would be highly provocative....

We spend gazillions of dollars maintaining all of these nukes with the hope we never have to use them. The goal should be to reduce spending on destroying ourselves.

We used to have an agreement with Russia to destroy lots of these nukes. That all ended under Obama.

US had to remove missiles from Europe in order for the Soviets to remove the nukes from Cuba.
