Way back in the mists of time there was a Democratic candidate for president who was leading in all the polls. He was a shoo-in to be the nominee.

But there were rumors the married man was a womanizer and an enterprising reporter followed candidate Gary Hart to a love nest on his boat and caught him red-handed.

This seminal event caused the Democrat to withdraw from the race because his womanizing was simply unacceptable to the American people.

Yeah. No joke.

But that was 1988.

Just a few years later, another Democrat was accused of womanizing, but he not only got the nomination, he was elected President. And even though several women came forward to claim they had affairs with Clinton, he was re-elected.

That's about the time the Republican Party began putting Family Values™ in the party platform.

Yet by 2016, not even the Republican Party gave a damn about morality any more. Christian evangelicals lined up to vote for one of the most vile, corrupt, immoral Presidents we have ever had. Their moral compasses are so wrecked, they actually believe this man was personally sent by God.

It's no longer about character any more. It's all about earthly power, and they will do ANYTHING to hold onto it or even to seize it.

Even our vice president hitched his evangelical wagon to this hellbound horse. He has since paid a dear price for that mistake. "For what shall it profit a man if he should gain the whole world but lose his soul?"

So it should not come as any surprise the GOP and its media organs are vigorously defending a deadbeat absentee father who paid for an abortion.

This isn't about moral character. It hasn't been for a long time.

The GOP did not look around for the best upstanding moral man they could find in Georgia. No.

They wanted an ignorant house negro who will do whatever they tell him to do. This man was picked by Dear Leader whose only qualification for his endorsement is stupidity and submissiveness to his will.

I used to joke on this forum about slandering opposition candidates by claiming they were seen throwing puppies into rush hour traffic.

Now we find a GOP candidate who has actually tortured puppies for no good purpose. He's also famous for peddling snake oil.

Again, he was endorsed by Dear Leader not for his character but for the exact opposite reason.

Dear Leader wants the legislative branch to be completely submissive to the Executive branch. Many of them have already licked his boots. Including every single Republican who warned us about him.

You should really think about that.

The last time Family Values™ was in the Republican platform was 2016.

For 2020, Trump made sure there was no platform. So the submissive cucks of the GOP simply stated, "Uh...what we said four years ago. Yeah."

To save the worshippers of the Orange Jesus some time, I offer the following numbered list. Just give the appropriate number for your response.

1. B-b-b-b-b-b-but Democrats!

2. You're a racist!

3. Look! A squirrel!

You don't think legitimate medical experiments on animals are radically different from simply hurting animals out of sadistic glee?

The problem is this: Leftists define morality according to their own twisted predilections. They celebrate killing babies and call it "women's health." They flout our immigration laws in the name of "compassion." They steal money from the taxpayers and distribute it to various constituencies in a cynical attempt to buy votes. They exalt perverted sex practices and re-define "marriage" in order to destroy the culture. They lie about history, poisoning generations of American children and teaching them to hate themselves and their ancestors.

Evil.

And they pretend to be horrified by an adult having consensual sex with another adult.

Very transparent.

Legitimate? Remember all the hoopla over Dr. Fauci's experiments?

Hypocrisy much?

In the early 2000s, testimony from a whistleblower and veterinarian named Catherine Dell’Orto about Oz’s research detailed extensive suffering inflicted on his team’s canine test subjects, including multiple violations of the Animal Welfare Act, which sets minimum standards of care for dogs, cats, primates, rabbits, and other animals in the possession of animal dealers and laboratories. The law specifically requires researchers and breeders to use pain-relieving drugs or euthanasia on the animals, and not use paralytics without anesthesia, or experiment multiple times on the same animal.

Dell’Orto testified that a dog experimented on by Oz’s team experienced lethargy, vomiting, paralysis, and kidney failure, but wasn’t euthanized for a full two days. She alleged other truly horrifying examples of gratuitously cruel treatment of dogs, including at least one dog who was kept alive for a month for continued experimentation despite her unstable, painful condition, despite how data from her continued experimentation was deemed unusable. According to Dell’Orto, one Oz-led study resulted in a litter of puppies being killed by intracardiac injection with syringes of expired drugs inserted in their hearts without any sedation. Upon being killed, the puppies were allegedly left in a garbage bag with living puppies who were their littermates.

In May 2004, Columbia University was ordered by the USDA to pay a $2,000 penalty for violations of the Animal Welfare Act. The fine paid by Columbia was the result of a settlement between the university and the USDA, based on the findings of Columbia’s internal investigation of Oz’s research. The USDA accepted these findings, but according to Dell’Orto, the review was faulty, and “had investigators on the committee that were also complicit in this type of poorly designed, cruel animal experimentation.” Dell’Orto also noted that while Oz wasn’t the one who euthanized the dogs and puppies himself, “When your name is on the experiment, and the way the experiment is designed inflicts such cruelty to these animals, by design, there’s a problem.”

You could have saved time with your deflection by using my list in post 12.

Your problem is that in reality, humans likely are not hereditarily monogamous, no other primates are for sure, including all the primates we are descendant from.
So that means "womanizing" is likely correct conduct, and those against it are religious fanatics.
for over a million years we have been hunter/gatherers.
Which means the men go off on long extended hunts, while the women stay with the children and gather or farm.
In a case like that, monogamy makes no sense.
The more men a woman can attract, the more shares of hunts she gets.

The point I am making is that this is about consolidating power into an autocrat's hands.

Trump wants to subordinate the Legislative branch to the Executive. And the submissive cucks in Congress are voluntarily doing so.

This does not bode well for our democracy.
