The economy sucks, Santa's on a budget...
looking at that SPUDGUN made me remember as a kid sitting on the porch reading the gun ads in OUTDOOR LIFE or some huntin mag. You could buy a Garand through the mail for like 13 bucks . My Dad went to Wolfes hardware and bought a nice old French 16 gauge double for a few bucks .
i'd take my .22 sears badged semi auto rifle to school on the school bus . Musta been about 1960-1 . After school we'd go to the K of C building downtown and shoot targets at their basement shooting range OR hitch hike to the woods near my house to maybe shoot a squirrel or rabbit or just plink .
