The morals issue is their major kryptonite. No culture can survive it without becoming more impoverished. The forcing of quotas and the dumbing down of the population has made them powerful while at the same time demonizing anyone not a Progressive. Repub politicians are the ones at a disadvantage. For they are seen as and endlessly promoted as the meanies. Just cleaning up the corruption in government with its budget can be beneficial to both parties. They can see a few years of peaceful co existence.
