Pizzeria accidentally gets 85 people stoned

I don't believe for a moment THC can smarten a person. Firing up the neurons, definitely.

It made me aware of things going on around me that don't want to be aware of. Actually, I just remembered that I bought some of those gummies once, about a year and a half ago. I stupidly ate all three or four of them, I don't remember, and downed a quarter pint of cheap vodka. That shit made me trip for three days. The worst part about it was the fact that my wife of 15 years knew something was going on, and it scared her. No more of that for me.

It's all about controlling yourself. Don't under and over do and you're good. I know my limits and when to take it. I never have this addiction urge.

Must be why natives have been using it for 12,000 years with total impunity. Or maybe, just maybe, the problem is with idiots who cannot properly handle it now.

PRIMITIVE MAN: Give him a spear and a fire stick and he is prepared for all occasions.

MODERN MAN: So weakened and brainless now that to survive, he needs 43 federal agencies, 112,860 federal laws, 43,097 state laws, 1,203 city and local laws, someone to pick up his trash, someone to shovel his driveway, a cellphone, Snap-Chat, Facebook, a computer, a freezer, a grocer, a counselor, 6 prescriptions for nerves and heartburn, and three girl friends to tell him he is OK and not really a woman in a man's body.
And ‘natives’ have diagnosed and documented the problems it’s caused? Do you recall how they banned peace pipes because the smoking caused lung disease, heart disease and cancer?

Tell me about it. Being a former musician, I smoked that shit for a little under four decades before I realized I hated it. Haven't been anywhere near a single whiff of it since 2007, and I don't miss it.
You’re lucky you didn’t develop an derealization disorder from it.
Unfortunately, some people just can’t accept things they don’t want to hear.

There’s no ‘a little stoned’. Pot works like an on/off switch.

You really think you know anything I don't already know? Just as not everyone is cut out to play NFL football, just as I wouldn't put your grandmother behind the wheel of an Indy race car averaging 300 mph on the slalom and expect her to handle it, not everyone is cut out for smoking pot. I would have thought that obvious if you really knew anything.

I used to smoke "just a little" pot, to take the edge off before gigs. Problem with that was, I thought I was playing great but when I listened back to it afterwards I was like WTF... :p

Unfair comparison. If you played under the filter of being stoned, you need to also hear it played back under the same filter in order to hear it sound right. :SMILEW~130: Actually, sadly, what most people miss is not that pot is good or bad but that pot is not meant to be used alone but in combination with something else. The THC is not the end goal but merely a gateway to opening a receptor site in the brain for something far more important.

Night and day is a good description. With me, it was like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. I was two entirely different people when I was straight or stoned.
