Yes. Because of the prevalence of pot stench in the air. That means the drug is present and anyone in the vicinity is subject to its effect. Many of us have had serious consequences from that drug. That’s why the lawsuits against the pot industry have recently been filed.
If you spend anytime in black areas you’ll know that pot use in public has become incessant since its shortsighted decriminalization.

We know that the parents will go down for what they are guilty of, but my question is how much of a punishment will their kid suffer? The kid helped their parents get the drugs out there. Because the kid only would've been punished by their parents for not following their orders, I don't know if a prison or juvie hall sentence should be what is dumped on the kid's plate if there is going to be a punishment for them at all that is. A good long community service time period could be sufficient enough.

They were running a narcotics distribution network, by using their children as salespeople inside the Middle-school--that's Junior High in my state.
12-14 year-old children. Selling vapes, weed, THC candy, mushrooms, and God knows what else.
The THC candy was far in excess of the legal limit as regards edible THC products.
For reference--I eat a 10mg gummy and I'm stoned for hours. These kids are half my weight and ate 300mg's!!
BTW--how long was this going on? Where were the school authorities?

I hope these parents lose their kids forever as they do long, long stretches in prison~

Twelve students at Horizon Middle School in Moorhead, Minnesota, fell ill on Monday after consuming high-potency THC gummies brought to school by a classmate. The incident led to the arrest of the student’s parents, Martin Hulst, 40, and Amanda Hulst, 43, who authorities allege were running a drug operation out of their home and utilizing their child to distribute products.
Emergency responders transported two students to a local hospital, while the remaining ten were released to their parents. Court documents reveal that the physical impairment from the edibles caused one child to fall and suffer a head injury. Investigators later determined the “candy” consisted of sour strip belts infused with 300 mg of THC—a dosage significantly higher than standard commercial recreation limits.

According to police reports, Martin Hulst routinely supplied his child with THC vape cartridges to sell to peers at school, later collecting the cash earnings from the minor.

Following the school incident, police executed a search warrant at the Hulst residence. Investigators discovered a substantial distribution setup, describing the basement as being arranged like a commercial storefront, complete with scales, packaging materials, and plastic bags stamped with “Thank You.” The search yielded what police described as “prohibited amounts of suspected THC products in the form of flower, cartridges, and wax, along with psychedelic mushrooms,” alongside $73,380 in cash inside a safe.

This is nothing new. I was running drugs to the Jeep factory when I was 15. I'd ride my moped right down the assembly line handing out packages. And I was dealing at school when I was 16.
