Other reasons to review Hooper’s book, The River, are that AstraZeneca’s vaccine is based on a chimpanzee adenovirus. SARS-CoV-2’s closest relative came from Rhinolophus affinis (RaTG13 coronavirus). R. affinis, like chimpanzees, can be infected with foamy retrovirus. This links the investigation to Fau Chi and HIV-1 and HIV-2. Retroviral elements can be incorporated into the coronavirus genome. Rhinolophus affinis bat is also infected with a picornavirus, linking the poliovirus OPV theory of Hooper, and by default, any documentation for thrombocytopenia in chimpanzees.
