what a joke these people will spend their hand outs on any thing and every thing except food and bills, and why should they get 3 strikes? I say you get caught spending your food stamps on any thing besides food you get kicked out for life and any store selling liquor or cigarette or any thing other than food for stamps would lose that privilege one strike your out for life!

The proposed law would be struck down as un-Constitutional.

There is no evidence pubic assistance recipients are making cash withdraws and using the funds to buy tobacco, liquor, or to gamble.

Without evidence of wrong-doing, this measure singles out a particular class of persons for punitive actions absent due process.

Consequently republicans are solely motivated by animus toward those receiving public assistance.

There are but many are not eligible for such assistance, or the assistance is one time only, or there is a waiting list for such programs. Many live in situations where landlords will accept only cash, particularly if recipients are temporarily in an hotel or boardinghouse.
