There is no misunderstanding. Blacks embrace violence and crime, so their neighborhoods are shit holes no one wants to live near, and businesses don’t want to be near them either.

I think that if you google about economic situation of African Americans, you will find some useful information.

As you may know, some African Americans are leaving traditionally African American neighborhoods for other parts of Los Angeles or even other nearby cities. Hispanic people are now living in many once predominately African American neighborhoods.

And leaving Cali in general. Blacks used to be about 13% of the population and now are about 6%. I have been to SF a few times and the only time I recall seeing a Black person was this gay guy who hit on me. I am sure there was plenty working at the Airport but sometimes just don't pay much attention.

For years, I had a black lesbian couple next door and we got along great. They were great. The neighbors on the other side were mixed as he was black and she was Swedish.we got along great, too, and they were great as well.

What distinguished them from the black posters here was that they were well educated and non racist. The combination of ignorance and hatred of other races is guaranteed to receive hatred in return. Educated people of all types who are not racist will get along by the same token.

I grew up in a city that is 42% black as per the US Census Bureau, but I never had any problem. The secret is, that even though I'm a honky, I know their lingo and am very conversant in Jive.

I think that's the real key to getting more civil relations between the races in America- mandate that white kids take at least 2 years of Jive in High School so they can speak to their fellow citizens.

I took Latin in school, they didn't teach Jive. But I picked it up in the neighborhood and the 2 African American students in my high school.

It's that finding prosperous suburbs in the USA with little to no white people living there is a tough task.

Sure a rich black person could live around blks (and many do) the problem is they will typically find themselves limited to the poorest, most crowded areas of town because whites have a system which ensures that those areas are the most poorest and most crowded areas of town.

Where as white people have a system which makes sure that sizeable % of white people get access to those prosperous areas with the help of mortgage discrimination, redlining, zoning laws and so-called “market forces” pricing many blacks out of the better housing markets

(even though whites only got into those markets because of government subsidies and preferences, both private and public).

Bring the faults of African Americans to the forefront with your views on racism.
