You hit on part of the problem. One of the reasons they went to ebt cards instead of food stamps was that it was less “embarrassing” for welfare recipients to reveal to other people in line that they were taking taxpayer money for food.

I volunteer taught financial literacy to these women - many with four and five children - which is how I know. (Each time they announced they were expecting another illegitimate baby, the other woman congratulated them.) There was never even an attempt to collect child support because they said it was “easier” for them if the government just paid. They even said that if baby daddies started paying, they’d lose some of their food stamps!

Why should women get to choose whether the fathers pay or other people pay for their kids?

I agree. It is just more fraud. IMO, if a woman is on welfare, she should not be having kids. They should be given an abortifacient or something to prevent pregnancy, or, if they get pregnant while on welfare, the kid should be taken off of them and they lose all benefits, or if they have a kid on welfare, they be sterilized so they can have no more, but these people have vast lobby groups protecting them--- a woman's right to have sex, children's rights--- remember, these are the people who cannot even bring an ID card to prove who they are when voting.

It is a big racket, government fraud, they launder money through these people and most of it ends up in democrat's hands. The government is incompetent, they make no effort to make these father's account for their children!
