Pelosi praises OWS !!

left wing Nancy Pelosi said god bless their spontaneity when asked about the communist mobs raising hell all over the country !!! further proof that the left is supporting anger and division amongst the American people !!! the treasonous left is willing to see war in the street to hang on to power !!!

Of course it is. Barack Obama has been out there with his class warfare rhetoric--that's his reelection campaign strategy. That's the only thing he has--his flood the basement policies have been an absolute failure--Nancy Pelosi is in tow--and if they can get these morons to focus on Wall Street--and EVIL RICH people--they know that these idiots won't be looking at them-and their failed policies.

All of these attempts to find a leader for OWS -- Obama, Van Jones, labor leaders, George Soros, whoever -- are coming from people who don't understand the self-organizing potential of the Internet. OWS, Arab Spring, and the protests in Europe are a new phenomenon, a manifestation of direct democracy facilitated by the Internet, which wouldn't have been possible without it.

Obama hasn't even embraced the movement yet; he's behind the curve here. But even those who have endorsed the movement aren't leading it. If anything they're following it, attempting to exploit it for their own political purposes.

We may be seeing a new form of governance emerge here. What's the essence of government? Force? No: communication. The ability to facilitate collective decision-making. Government derives its powers from the consent of the governed, as Jefferson said, and not from the barrel of a gun, as Mao said. The Internet creates a whole new way to gain the consent, the collective decision, of people who may be separated by great distances and exist in great numbers.

Whether that can become a way to govern a nation remains to be seen, but it has already shown itself capable of governing a movement.

Is this the leader of the OWS group--and one that Nancy Pelosi supports?-- I shouldn't have asked that question--because of Obama's/Pelosi's statements and policies they probably do support someone taking a dump on the United States flag.

No, and neither is anyone else. I know you're just making fun here, but you are another one that doesn't get that.

Don't count on this ending with cold weather, either. It may shrink a bit, but a core will hang on, swelling for major protests, and it will increase again on a daily basis come spring.

Only two things will end this movement in its NYC phase. One would be the enactment of significant progressive reforms. The other would be a complete crackdown by the police. But if the latter happens, while that might end things in New York, it will also cause them to explode in many other places. As long as the Internet exists and the problems persist, this movement is not going to disappear.

I did. It won't disappear, unless the cops knock it out, and then it will just reappear in greater force elsewhere. That's my prediction.

This can't possibly be the same Pelosi who called anyone belonging to a Tea Party a racist and a terrorist??

Can't be. Bless her liberal assed heart.

But, "where's the poo?" :lmao:

he actually seems to be cleaning himself, not defecating.

but you know... people decide to lie, they don't really care what facts are.

thanks for pointing out that there wasn't anything there.

Should we ask TM "where's the poo"? She has a lot of folks wondering "where's the poo"!

:lmao: Mystery solved! TM is complicit!
....

There is NO poop and there should be if what he says was true.

 Oh for fucks sake...here's the proof for the vanishing poop!

A small movement which will never last. Enough of these people will realize that they would better serve themselves by job hunting or returning to school. And those who are still out there will run home to Mommy as soon as the first winter blast hits them.

That will only become true if and when jobs exist for all job-seekers, and if and when a college education becomes both affordable and rewarded with a decent-paying job after graduation. Otherwise, job hunting is fruitless and returning to school is worse than fruitless. (That's discounting the fact that a lot of the protesters HAVE jobs and/or ARE in school.) And that in turn will require, as I said above, significant progressive reform.

Since that's not likely to come from this Congress or this president, I predict that the movement will still exist next spring, bigger than ever. If it doesn't exist in New York it will be because the police cracked down on it, and that will mean it will spring up elsewhere.
