Pelosi praises OWS !!

People work, grow a business, earn a living based on current laws, whether it be IRS or EPA or DOL, or whatever the hell federal bureau.

Once upon a time there were people/entrepreneurs who wanted to not only make a buck, but advance from a manual typewriter to an electric typewriter.............they were free to do so.

Now those same people are 'evil capitalists'..........

LOL, a list of grievances......DAMN ain't life just a BITCH. then you get someone like the MILLIONAIR Madame Pelosi come and STAND WITH YOU in solidarity... then she flies home to ONE of her mansions and sleeps comfy snuggled in her nice warm bed..that right there is a real HOOT..

You do realize the above sets some kind of new record for incoherence, I hope.

The point is that yes, the protesters are protesting against the Obama administration, among other things, as being too cozy with Wall Street. It's a deserved accusation, too.

In my eyes this is no big deal. Why are so many concerned? Its a protest people. Eventually they will leave. No big deal. In fact it gives me some news to watch.
And its happening in a few cities. SO WHAT? What these people fail to understand is being duped is part of living in america. Wall street is so full of shenanigans and wrongdoing, illegal, etc that its probably remarkable. But it has been this way forever. To all who think this is bad get a clue. It will all be over soon.

I would agree except the union leaders and the POTUS and Pelosi (IOW, Democrats) and the Socialist party and (open borders George Soros) are funding it.

Thankfully, despite these morons getting more attention than they deserve by ALL media, they are waking up 'we the people' .........you thought the 2010 elections were a 'shellacking'?

You ain't seen nuttin yet.

left wing Nancy Pelosi said god bless their spontaneity when asked about the communist mobs raising hell all over the country !!! further proof that the left is supporting anger and division amongst the American people !!! the treasonous left is willing to see war in the street to hang on to power !!!

She called the TEA Party folks nazis when they organized and protested. What a load she is.

Supporting it? Damn, they're counting on it.

Pelosi is a whackjob. The OWS seems overall, to be filled with massive amounts of whackjobbery. WTF people? You want to outlaw emotions? Income? Yeah, good luck with that.

Out of curiosity, have they had anyone go to their soirees with guns or talked of being armed?

There is no doubt in my mind that this was planned months ago by the left machine, and I have few doubts that Obama knew about it and blessed it....

Yes, she was all choked up when she talked about the 'tea party' people.......how dangerous they are...............what an idiot...........

First off, the media have been much more reluctant to cover OWS than they were to cover the Tea Party, which got a lot more attention when it had much less going on. So you're way off there.

Second, I wouldn't count your chickens before they hatch if I were you. Solid majorities of the public are with the movement on the issues, and the movement itself has more favorable than unfavorable response according to the only poll that's been done so far (by Rasmussen, which probably means it's skewed toward the "unfavorable" side -- and even so it shows the movement is pretty popular).

This is more likely to work for the Democrats than against them, especially if they do embrace it.

they already have embraced it !!! capitalism is under attack by communism in AMERICA !!!!

LOL, it will more likely help the Democrats, especially if they embrace them..

What have we been saying folks. for the Democrats, by the Democrats with the Obamas BLESSING.

I doubt it will help and think it will hurt them, but whatever blows their skirts up I guess.

It does have some comedic value at least.

Let me clue you guys in on something. Occupy Wall Street is growing out of the exact same internet decentralized organization that put Obama in the White House and big Democratic majorities in Congress in 2008. It's happening, instead of more electoral politics, because the Democrats have shown themselves to be tools of corporate America almost as much as the Republicans.

If these guys had been willing to work and vote for the Democrats in 2010 the way they were in 2008, not only would the GOP not control the House now, but the Dems would have increased their majority. They lost that election because they let their supporters down, and for no other reason.

This protest is where the energy is going now (for the moment). And it's directed primarily at the Democrats, not the GOP. The Republicans are a lost cause. The Democrats, though, are being presented with the issues in no uncertain terms, and with a chance to show that they are worth supporting.

It all depends on whether they get the message. If they do, and show they do, they'll win next year. If not, they won't -- and these protests next to what will follow are a dust-devil next to a hurricane.

One way or another, indeed you ain't seen nothin' yet.

I had to do some serious 'researching' to find articles about the tea party rallies.............I can't even turn on a channel (radio/tv) without hearing about these useful idiots...........

Your own experience is misleading. The Tea Party got serious coverage from its first days in 2008. Even the tiniest, most insignificant TP rallies got media coverage. There have been left-leaning protests and rallies going on in a lot of cities for a couple of years now, but they hardly ever got a mention on the mainstream media except one time when one of them was disrupted by a TP counter-rally. Generally speaking, the MSM ignores protests on the left except when they're so big there's no option but to cover them, and so far that's happened only twice, with the protests in Wisconsin and now with OWS.

It could be that will change in the future, now that OWS has broken the ice so to speak, but in the past that's how it's been.
