The moderate Democrats showed these particular Republicans the "fine print" hidden in the pages of the bill. The text allows for substantial moneys to be siphoned off into forgivable loans to Big Business and America's 640 billionaires.

As proposed infrastructure programs and projects are cancelled, no one will notice a few hundred billion dollars disappearing. It happens all the time, and those threats to, "Throw the bastards out," the voters rarely follow through.
