"that a particularly virulent virus was unleashed on the world by the Chinese." Wrong.Show your math. I’ll be happy to hear how much (percentage wise) the average working Jill is getting out of it.Those are the provisions. If there were 300M Americans getting 1200 bucks each, that would be 360B dollars.Well, if there are 300 million Americans getting $1200 checks, that’s $360B. Leaving $1.6T for businesses.
While I’m for the bailout, you would think it would be closer to 50/50. There’ll be a lot of double dipping as there always is.
Why don't you find the actual provisions in the legislation before throwing out your ignorant suppositions? Or would that not fit your far left-wing agenda?
But the checks will be $500 for the dependents. Thus direct payouts to Americans will be far less than the 360B.
We’re seeing about 15 percent of the 2T.
Feel free to challenge the math.
Well, your arithmetic is atrocious proving only that you have no clue what is in the bill. Come back when you know what you are talking about.
Here is a place for you to start.
What's in the stimulus package? Here are the highlights of Congress' $2.2T relief package
Some highlights of a $2.2 trillion package to help businesses, workers and a health care system staggered by the coronavirus pandemic.www.usatoday.com

It isn't "my" arithmetic.
Yours is goofy. First and last, we don't have 300 million working Americans, not even 200 million. We have about 165 million workers and many of those earn more than $75,000 a year. In my humble opinion, people still working and getting paid, including those on SS, welfare, or disability should receive nothing. Businesses all need help. This virus is causing immense hardship all around the world. It is not the fault of the people or businesses that a particularly virulent virus was unleashed on the world by the Chinese.
BRAVO!!!!
I agree with all of that. I inflated the numbers to round figures to illustrate just how little is actually being given to working Americans. I think you would have realized that if you would have put the blob-supporting hate reflex in check for .05 seconds. LOL
The reason you're afraid to do the math is because you'll illustrate what a disgustingly small portion average Joe lunchbucket is actually getting out of a $2.2 Trillion "stimulus" and it will make your blob look bad. Can't have that now, can we?
I'm for the stimulus. I just think it should have been closer to 50/50.
