Who can remember the fancy adorable coins that previous presidents passed around when they signed actual nuclear arms deals with countries?? Oh wait!
Trump never signed a nuke deal with North Korea -- but still felt compelled to pass out signature coins with him and his new boo Lil Kim -- and not one of you dic suckers complained...remind you, there wasn't even a deal...and he used taxpayer money ( 6 million dollars worth) to make fucking coins...and you Trumpers didn't say a word....
But lets take a stroll down memory lane....
December 12, 1998 - The House Committee passed articles of impeachment --- for those playing at home, Trump was impeached December 18th, 2019...also on this day, this guy resigned due to being caught for having an affair....he urged Clinton should resign too..not for lying under oath about an affair, but for having one period...adorable..
Oh yea, just a month before the impeachment, Newt Gingrich left Congress altogether....because of how much of a cancer he was ...and also because he too was cheating on his wife...
December 19, 1998 -- The House walks over the articles of Impeachment and hands them to Secretary of the Senate, Gary Sisco...
January 8, 1999 -- the Senate votes 100-0 on the process for the impeachment trial...
January 14, 1999 -- Thirteen House prosecutors begin a three-day opening statement, laying out the case for the Senate to convict President Clinton and remove him from office --
Remember that number, republicans selected 13 people to prosecute the impeachment case..keep that in mind for when Trumpers start whining about the number of House prosecutors in the Trump impeachment trial..
January 19, 1999 -- President Clinton's legal team begins a three-day defense of the president...by the way, there is witness testimony involved during all of this.....
January 23, 1999 -- A judge orders Monica Lewinsky to cooperate with House prosecutors; Lewinsky returns to Washington, D.C., from California and gives close door testimony to House republicans....don't recall any Republicans or anyone else outraged over this witness being called to testify...
January 27, 1999 -- the Senate agrees to seek witness testimony from Monica Lewinsky, Vernon Jordan and Sidney Blumenthal...I don't recall Democrats demanding to hear testimony from Newt Gingrich or Trent Lott or anyone else....
From February 1st to the 8th, 1999 -- the Senate trial continues, complete with witness testimony...
February 9, 1999 -- the Senate rejects request for the Senate deliberations to be open to the public, so the deliberations are held behind closed doors.
February 12, 1999 -- The Senate votes to acquit ...Clinton apologizes for the burden he put on the country with the whole impeachment thing.
But wait....there's more....
March 13, 2000 -- Whitewater Independent Counsel files final reports that detail the office's six-year investigation of President Bill Clinton and first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in which they stated there is "no substantial and credible evidence" of criminal wrongdoing....did I say it was 6 years?? Yes...it was 6 fucking years...again, remember this when you hear Trumpers whining about how long something took
July 13, 2000 -- Charles Bakaly, the former spokesman for the Whitewater investigation, goes to trial on charges that he misled a judge about news leaks during the Monica Lewinsky investigation.
July 28, 2000 -- The final report on the so-called "filegate" scandal is unsealed by a federal appeals court, and Whitewater Independent Counsel said the report shows no evidence of misconduct by first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton...again....
No, this is nothing like the last impeachment......
