House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continues to face blowback for her comments defending lawmakers who trade in stocks even while having access to potentially market-moving information.
She was responding to questions about a Business Insider report on dozens of lawmakers who have failed to meet requirements of the STOCK Act by failing turn in timely reports on their asset sales and purchases.

Comment:
Is Pelosi above the Law like Hillary, Obama, Schiff, Biden, Hunter, Omar...........?

after report said 49 have violated conflict of interest law

What's the penalty for violating the law.

Pelosi is worth $200 million and is 80 years old.
How much more money does she need?
Talk about greed
Rich people in America are all pretty much above the law.
The important part is when poor people start to show real disdain and resentment over the fact.
Rightist should never let on that they're showing resentment over rich people having money. That's always been the property of the left. You really blew it!

Boycott has more palpable rewards than resentment.

Whatever that means?
People who can't play the market with 50/50 odds should obviously stay out or boycott. Assuming that there will always be as much loss as there is gain, in some respects. The very wealthy can play the market with huge odds in their favour and that pawns off the losses to others.

For one example Elon Musk can play the market with close to 100% odds in his favour, albeit sometimes covertly under a cover name.

Scum-bag....

Of course she is going to defend it. She has made millions doing the exact same thing. If she condemns it she condemns herself

I have no resentment for people acquiring wealth legally. Insider trading is not legal and should not be promoted in anyway shape or form from the leaders of this nation.

Hey leftists, know that Obama guy? Yeah, he was middle class before the elite ran him for POTUS.

What's it been, five years since he left? He's worth about 80 million today and climbing fast.

You better start having a closer look at the capitalist system that allows America's big corporate employers to pack their bags and run off to China!

Know thy enemy!
sooner or later it has to become obvious!

I know it is happening and I don't think it should be allowed. Congress needs to address this behavior and neither Democrats or Republicans will fix it. We need a party that represents the American work class. We already have two parties that work for the rich.
