Because according to the most recent Gallup poll, only 38% of Americans support passing the bill, presumably the House bill, as it stands, 37% think it needs major changes and 17% think it ought to be rejected. The Democrats want to get credit from their constituents for funding all those popular liberal projects without getting all the heat from the rest of the country for it.

The only thing they know is tax breaks, and they don't work. The rich get the breaks and that money goes to overseas banks. You got to give it to Americans that spend in America.

That's why today, we are all writing to Harry Reed and our state Senators and we are telling them to stop being pussies. Fuck the GOP.

Write to Levin and Stabenow and ask them to pull the added BS (pork - for social programs) out of the Stimulus Bill. This bill should be for job creation, infrastructure, and helping people stay in their homes. Period. Don't sit back and wait for them to do the right thing.

If we need funding for other programs - such as family planning...it should be put into a separate bill.

If you stood up for Obama in November, stand up NOW - for your country.
