Nancy Pelosi has doubled down on her comments saying she wanted to punch Donald Trump as rioters stormed the US Capitol building on January 6, 2021.

On that day, the speaker of the House, 82, said from inside the Capitol as rioters wrestled with police officers before breaching the building that she would hit Trump if he showed up with his incensed followers.

Pelosi doubled down on those comments Tuesday, saying that she would have punched him, gone to jail, and 'been happy to do so for our country.'
