I do not entirely accept your opinion---and interesting factoid of history that some people believe is that lead lined pipes and cooking vessels led to widespread low level lead poisoning (that causes anemia and a kind of chronic indolence)

Well there's a distinct difference between pedophilia and child molesting. The author you're citing draws a firm delineation between pedophiles and sex offenders. The former those being attracted to children. The latter those who have acted on it.

She's calling for treatment of pedophilia as a disorder before the become sex offenders. Which makes **** tons of sense.
