'Peace Run' Dealt a Blow After PA Insists: No Jews Allowed

Really? Where did they sah that?

Geese, do you know nothing?

Article 6:

The Jews who had normally resided in Palestine until the beginning of the Zionist invasion will be considered Palestinians.

The Avalon Project : The Palestinian National Charter

You, PF Tinmore asking me if I know nothing??

Who the **** are the Palestinians to tell certain Israeli citizens that they are Palestinians.
They are Israelis. And Abbas said that no Israelis will be allowed in a Palestinian state.

The Palestinians are merely reiterating the principles laid out in the Treaty of Lausanne.

NATIONALITY.
ARTICLE 30.

Turkish subjects habitually resident in territory which in accordance with the provisions of the present Treaty is detached from Turkey will become ipsofacto, in the conditions laid down by the local law, nationals of the State to which such territory is transferred.

What State did they become 'nationals' of?

And what makes you think that the provisions of that Treaty, in connection with Old Palestine, are still operative, given that Old Palestine never existed as a State, and that it does not even exist any longer as a recognizable region?

According to the British, they became citizens of Palestine.

Has it expired?

In order to expire, it must first exist.

Oh, there was, indeed, a Territory or Region called 'Palestine', during the life of the Mandate, which the British administered.

But there was no operative and effective polity in existence, to take the place of the British Administration, at the termination of the Mandate.

The Jews cleverly stepped-in, to fill the vacuum.

Claiming a PIECE of Old Palestine for themselves, and setting that up as a new country.

You should have claimed the leftovers and declared Statehood and Independence yourselves, that same day, in 1948.

But you weren't bright enough or competent enough to understand the need for that.

Your descendants have been living in shit-holes for 66 years because of that minor oversight.

Too late now though.

You can always make an argument that the Palestinians are, indeed, citizens of Palestine, even today.

But Palestine today is a tiny fraction of what Palestine was in 1948.

The rest of it is now Israel, and is going to stay that way.

You would be better off packing-up, and leaving, and beginning a new life someplace else.

Much better off, rather than continuing to pound your heads against a brick wall, while part of the rest of the world cries for you, and part of the rest of the world laughs its ass off at you.

Forget the goddamned Treaty and all the horseshit 60-70 year old legal technicalities... it's all as dead as Julius Caesar.

Time to go.

Or continue...

You're deflectting. The Treaty of Lausanne didn't mention Palestine. You keep using it for tour arguments, but it means nothing.
And again, to what state was the territory transfered??

All of the territories broken off of the Ottoman Empire were considered successor states. They were not listed by name.

The U.S. State Department Digest of International Law says that the terms of the Treaty of Lausanne provided for the application of the principles of state succession to the "A" Mandates. The Treaty of Versailles (1920) provisionally recognized the former Ottoman communities as independent nations. It also required Germany to recognize the disposition of the former Ottoman territories and to recognize the new states laid down within their boundaries. The Treaty of Lausanne required the newly created states that acquired the territory to pay annuities on the Ottoman public debt, and to assume responsibility for the administration of concessions that had been granted by the Ottomans. A dispute regarding the status of the territories was settled by an Arbitrator appointed by the Council of the League of Nations. It was decided that Palestine and Transjordan were newly created states according to the terms of the applicable post-war treaties. In its Judgment No. 5, The Mavrommatis Palestine Concessions, the Permanent Court of International Justice also decided that Palestine was responsible as the successor state for concessions granted by Ottoman authorities. The Courts of Palestine and Great Britain decided that title to the properties shown on the Ottoman Civil list had been ceded to the government of Palestine as an allied successor state.[16]

Again, the Treaty of Lausanne does not mention Palestine and you did not answer my question: To what state was the territory transfered to??

Do you only class the ones that succeed as suicide bombers, how about the ones stopped at the checkpoints and sent to prison. How many have been stopped this year alone.

If the Palestinians abided by the many charters they signed a month ago then there would not be any need for retaliation to the terrorist attacks. Time for the UN to step in and start hitting the Palestinians for their failure to abide to the Geneva conventions and UN charter.

Like?

Negotiating a peacefull solution the end of the conflict. Stopping all belligerence and violence. Acting in a manner that promotes peace.
Do you want more examples of the Palestinians being in breach of the charters they recently signed, or will they be enough for you. And before you claim that Isreal are in breach of the charters they only retaliate to Palestinian belligerence

Stopping all belligerence and violence.

And how does this show that the Palestinians are in compliance with the Un charter, Geneva conventions and all the other charters they have recently signed. All it shows is one person twisting the facts to suit the Palestinians agenda. Since 1967 the UN has had in place resolution 242 which states that all parties must stop all violence and belligerence, which Palestine have constantly ignored resulting in recriminations from Israel against terrorist attacks. The terrorist attacks have been done from civilian areas, and still are, in breach of the Geneva conventions. These are war crimes and crimes against humanity for which the Palestinian leadership could be arrested and tried in the Hague.

Now try and find something that actually supports your POV and not something that twists the truth

It would be much simpler for you to list Palestine's violations since you are the one making the claim.

What truth was I twisting?

It's a shame that the Jews weren't allowed to take part in something like this.

'Peace Run' Dealt a Blow After PA Insists: No Jews Allowed

Unique event to 'inspire coexistence' undermined by Palestinian Authority's objection to the presence of Jews.

A unique "Peace Run" initiated by an Australian extreme athlete to promote coexistence between Jews and Arabs in Judea and Samaria was dealt a severe blow Sunday, after the Palestinian Authority objected to the presence of Jewish runners.

A group of six Israelis were asked to refrain from participating in Australian ultra marathon runner Pat Farmer's Peace Run, as it passed the Jewish communities of Eli and Shiloh in Samaria, north of Jerusalem. The group - which was organized by the Yesha Council in conjunction with Regavim - had coordinated with Farmer's team ahead of time to ensure that Jews and Palestinians could run together in a true show of coexistence.

just shows that the whole want peace ploy is just an act....They want Jews dead. And if they get that then what? Do the apologists for them think they will just stop there????? Hate doesn't take a vacation.

Evidence has been given from unbiased sources, and you ignore it because it destroys your POV

Try that Palestine had International borders set by the Treaty of Lausanne, when Palestine was not even mentioned. Then that the arab muslim Palestinians had been given their own state by the capitulation of the Ottoman empire and they were an autonomous state. Finally that Israel does not exist because you say so.

Good enough for you, or will you produce the evidence to support your words showing a treaty signed by the Palestinian leaders that set in stone the International borders. Then one showing that Palestine was granted statehood, and finally another that proves Israel does not exist. All from verifiable unbiased sources, not your usual Palestinian professor that adds whole chapters to existing treaties to prove his fantasies
