Let's go back to having the States pay their ratable portion of the Federal Budget!!!
This way when some Senator says, "I want to appropriate $40MM for the Robert Byrd Library and Noose Making Center" 98 other Senators stand up in unison and say "**** You! Pay for it yourself!!"

This was the first the first shot fired by the Progressive Jihad in its War on American Freedoms and Free Enterprise. The 16th Amendment both established an Income Tax and Neutron Bombed the States. They're still standing there but they are no longer effective counter weights against the Federal Government

Why do you think that 1% of Americans, who already pay 37% of the federal income tax paid in this country should pay MORE while 40% of Americans pay NOTHING?
Suggesting that 1% should pay more than a 1/3 is beyond ridiculous, totally ignoring that 40% pay nothing, and in fact some even EARN money off the IRS, is retarded.

It's more Patriotic to tell the Government to get off your back and demand less Taxes. Our Nation was not founded on punishing its Citizens just because they became successful. I'm sure the King of England believed in that but our Founders didn't. The whole idea of punishing Citizens for becoming successful is the most Un-Patriotic idea i can think of. The Socialists/Progressives are just misguided and wrong on their Class Warfare agenda.

The only problem with that is with the "new conservatives" of today is that they don't believe in telling the government to get off your backs.
The New Conservatives today very much want an activist government. They want a government that tells doctors what they can and cannot say to their patients. They want government to pass laws against abortion, gay marriage, drug use, etc..
So until you have a clue what you REALLY expect from your "nanny state" government don't lecture me on Patriotism. You just spew the party line but have no clue as to what you're really saying.

It does seem like we're going backwards in this country. Some are now advocating the very same Government Oppression which led to our Revolution. Our current Government resembles the oppressive British Monarchy more & more everyday. We are going backwards. This Socialist/Progressive Class Warfare agenda is just wrong. Get your mind right fazie and think about the issue before you go posting Soros and Huffington propaganda. First of all it's their money and if president Bush let them keep more of it whatever they spend it on promotes the economy. On the other hand it's a downright dirty shame when the federal government confiscates money and gives it to certain people in order to get votes. To summarize, the private sector making money and spending it equals stimulous. The government confiscating money and distributing it to favorite factions is a net loss. It's common sense unless you happen to be a socialist.
