All this said, I do see the ultimate in hypocrisy in that man's actions. And I honestly view such "Preachers" as impotent side-show con artists.

Still, he leaves behind a spouse and children who were totally blindsided by this. And therein lies the tragedy.

must not have believed much in what he preached either. Christ blood would have covered the AM stuff. But, then he took his life, and his fate ain't so sure now.

Long story short, my ex and I are now in much better happier places.

As for my children, I told them that I was very sorry for the way things happened but that I have also vowed never to regret my decision. I think they're cool with that.

It's been 20 years, but since then I have been free of the onslaught of verbal, emotional, psychological, and mental abuse.
