Party Loyalty is Poison

The only side waging a culture war is the right. And true, there are no political parties mentioned in the constitution. However, those slave owners didn't have any principles and values.
No, it is the LEFT drive the country further Left. When we respond you say WE are engaging in a culture war. WE are only DEFENSIVE, trying to protect the country from your endless attacks on AMERICAN culture

"Democrats suck ass"

The founders knew it. Anyone with a brain and a pulse knows it. We've replaced principles and values with "sides".

That is true. But when you choose the party you choose to support in any given election based on vision, principles, agenda, policy, track record it can be a good thing.

To vote Republican now is to vote for closed borders, reformed spending policy, taxation that benefits instead of punishes people, support of traditional values that made America the great country it is.

To vote Democrat now is to vote for open borders, insane and irresponsible spending, the pornification of America and destruction of the history, traditions, values, principles that have made America the great country that it is.

How did the democrats lose? They got almost everything they wanted. In fact, they got more than the fiscal conservatives got.
Such as what? Is it because they got everything they wanted that kept Jeffries talking for eight hours or so to prevent a vote until he finally had to go to the bathroom? Exactly what is it they wanted that they got?

They didn't get to keep the border open.

They didn't get to keep funding for Planned Parenthood, PBS, NPR, USAID, Medicaid for migrants.

They didn't get to let the Trump tax reforms expire.

They didn't get trillions poured into green energy that accomplish nothing.

Exactly what is it they got?

The same old same old.

Now they just wait their turn.

Parties need to push policies that garner a majority of energized voters, like Trump.

So, after disagreeing that we need a healthy two-party system so that if a party is bad, folks have a better party like Trump to vote for, now you have changed your mind.

Illegals still get their Medicaid. Trans kids still get their surgeries. No tax on tips or over time is not only temporary. But it's also capped. They got their green new scam money. And a bunch of other things.

I've never disagreed that we need a 2-party system. You replying to someone else?

No, I said we needed a legit 2-party system that wasn't a uniparty and YOU disagreed.

Some of it. Mostly summaries provided by sources I trust.
I've read very little. Omnibus bills are always a hard no for me out of the gate. They're just a way to push through legislation that can't win support on its own.

To the extent that we have political Parties, political “loyalty” is kind of necessary. This is why we have positions such as Party “Whip.”

I imagine that the OP is actually complaining more about the existence of political Parties at all than about “loyalty.”

But I suppose that a different matter than the alleged topic presented.
