The FBI indicted un-paid Trump campaign volunteer George Papadopoulos for lying to the FBI after a 'drunken conversation in the bathroom of a British Pub' over potentially meeting to acquire 'opposition research' on Hillary Clinton. Papadopoulos was convicted and spent all of 14 days in jail for his crime...which further investigation and evidence shows resulted from him being set up by the FBI and the man who tipped them off about the meeting...who happened to be the same Hillary-supporter/donor who set him up by setting up the meeting.
Australian Diplomat Alexander Downer is a HUGE Hillary supporter and donor. In 2016 in London Downer met with Papadopoulos in London after the meeting had been arranged by an associate of Downer.
Evidence shows Downer was the individual who tipped the FBI off about the meeting Papadopoulos was going to have to discuss 'dirt' on Hillary and about her e-mails and server.
Papadopoulos insists he does not remember talking to Downer about Hillary Clinton's e-mails but that Downer's associate who set up the meeting had 'quizzed him' before his meeting with Downer about Russian hacks of Hillary's server.
So, the Hillary supporter / donor reaches out to Papadopoulos, questions him about Hillary's server / Russian Interference, asks for a sit-down meeting between him and Downer. Papadopoulos agrees. Downer informs the FBI the meeting is set up. ('SET UP' is the right words to use.) Afterwards the FBI calls Papadopoulos in to 'interrogate' him...and he ends up indicted by Comey's / Obama's FBI Gestapo. The witch hunt has one of its 1st Trump associates to pressure in an attempt to get to Trump.
Much like Steele was working for the FBI....evidence shows Downer was also working with / close with the FBI.
'While it is unclear whether Downer was sent to contact Papadopoulos, at least one intelligence source was tasked with meeting the Trump adviser during the campaign.'
So, prior to being called in after the meeting with Downer, it was reported that 'an intelligence source' WAS SENT to meet / talk with Papadopoulos. It is now believed that the 'intel source' sent to talk to Papadopoulos was Downer. If this is the case, it shows that the Obama Conspirators were actively conducting operations to TRAP Trump associates in situations where it would look like they were 'colluding' with the Russians to get 'dirt' on Hillary.
This would not be the only time such a TRAP was set for the Trump team. Obama himself had to override his own Immigration Department's ban on a Russian lawyer from entering the United States to help facilitate a meeting between the Russian lawyer and Trump Jr. So Obama personally took action to allow the Russian into the country. His FBI knew of the location of the meeting in time to 'bug' it, and Obama's own personal Ex-FBI Russian translator was in the room when the meeting took place. The meeting lasted 7 minutes and ended when Trump Jr abruptly left the meeting, having texted his secretary to call his phone to give him a reason / excuse to leave. Trump Jr left with no information about Hillary having changed hands. NO INFORMATION WAS SHARED.
Hillary / Obama may have gotten Papadopoulos, but they missed Trump Jr. Attempting to collect opposition research on a candidate is not illegal, and no opposition research on Hillary had been exchanged between the Russian Lawyer and Trump Jr / the Trump campaign. This did not stop Obama's Conspirators and the Liberal media from pushing the story hard that Trump Jr had somehow committed a crime by attending the meeting, which he did not.
Bottom Line: This shows a pattern, exposes how Mueller / Comey were taking active steps to try to SET UP the Trump campaign associates to attempt to flip them against Donald Trump.
Downer was not a chance meeting out of the blue. It was a set-up.

Obama had to take direct action, to override his own Department of Immigration's ban on this Russian lawyer to get her into the country so this meeting would happen...and when it did the FBI were ready for it - wire taps, Russian Interpreter, and all.
Oher, of course already flipped, testified before Congress and revealed that foreign British agent Steele, himself form the DOJ, and Oher's wife working at Fusion GPS were all working with Mueller in early 2016 already...while Steele was also working for the FBI.
In today's world there is almost NO secret that can be kept for long. As time goes by, all is revealed. Obama's Anti-Trump Conspiracy - involving Hillary, his DOJ, CIA, NIA, FBI, Fusion GPS, ex-British spies, Pro-Hillary Australian diplomats, etc.... - has begun to unravel, the facts have started coming out.
