Congressional show-trials need to be prosecuted when perjury is involved. As much as I would like to see the pardoned be prosecuted the OP needs to quit living in the past.

Let us all know when the pardons are declared invalid, then we can talk.Congressional show-trials need to be prosecuted when perjury is involved.
I have to ask:
Why is it so unreasonable to say trump wanted the vehicle to go to the Capitol?
Trump said, "And I'll be there with you."
And when trump 'asked' to go to the Capitol, and the reasonable SS told him NO, because it wasn't safe and wasn't planned, why is this such an issue for you?
The grabbing at the wheel, is just a deflection. Who Fucking Cares.
Have the indictments, then the trial, then we can see if the pardons are legit.Let us all know when the pardons are declared invalid, then we can talk.
No, it does not, and, no, it won't.Are "Preemptive Pardons" even legal? The USSC needs to clarify.
Liz Cheney admitted she did.LOLLOOLLL
LIAR.
Never been challenged, Johnny...... COTUS doesn't mention 'what if' scenarios. No, it does not, and, no, it won't.
That we don't know. But a presidential pardon, however corrupt it might be, is absolute. Bondi may in fact be quietly investigating whether Biden actually gave his consent for those pre-emptive pardons. We know he did for Hunter's pardon because he went public with that. If he didn't give consent for the others, it is likely they can be overturned. But proving he didn't give consent may not be possible. Are "Preemptive Pardons" even legal? The USSC needs to clarify.
Why can’t they take the 5th? Trump is out there saying that the pardons are illegitimate. Even if SCOTUS says the pardons stand, a future SCOTUS can just reverse that decision.Have the indictments, then the trial, then we can see if the pardons are legit.
Worst case no one with a "pardon" can take the 5th.
Otherwise the truth never comes out.
Or SCOTUS makes a decision. The pardons will be accepted on their face unless overwhelming evidence that proves (far more than suggests) otherwise.
Why can’t they take the 5th?
Except now we live in a world where pardons aren’t absolute. Trump just revoked them.Or SCOTUS makes a decision.
Can you plead the 5th if you have been pardoned?
In his majority opinion, Justice Henry Billings Brown found that if a “witness has already received a pardon, he cannot longer set up his [Fifth Amendment] privilege, since he stands, with respect to such offense, as if it had never been committed.” Brown cited cases dating back to English law and the Aaron Burr ...Jan 23, 2025

We all know Trump is full of bullshit but the courts have been especially open to accepting Trump’s bullshit as legal fact.
Both your statements are unproven..........lies.We all know Trump is full of bullshit but the courts have been especially open to accepting Trump’s bullshit as legal fact.
Their fear of being prosecuted, regardless of the pardon, could be justified since its judicial Calvinball now.
The President can pardon anyone he choose to pardon. It is one absolute authority he has. If he is responsible and ethical, he only pardons or commutes sentences of those who deserve that mercy. And preemptive pardons are just as legal as any other pardons. Consider Gerald Ford pre-emptively pardoning Nixon so that he could not be impeached. Unpopular with the people yes and most likely cost Ford his election but completely legal.1. Biden's consent is one issue.
2. Preemptive pardons is a separate issue. For example, if Trump gave preemptive pardons to a "hit squad" who legally disposed of Trump's enemies, would that be legal?
