Pager wars. Israels psychitic war stretches from Gaza to Lebanon

There can be no normalization of relations between Riyadh and West Jerusalem without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman has announced.

The prince has previously said that US-backed talks between Saudi Arabia and Israel were close to a solution, before the Gaza conflict broke out last October.

“The kingdom will not stop its tireless work towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and we affirm that the kingdom will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without that,” bin Salman said on Wednesday, according to Reuters.

If Israel were to attempt to directly own or control the West Bank and Gaza, it would likely face significant opposition from Saudi Arabia and other Arab states:

Potential Saudi Arabian Response:
  • Strongly condemn any Israeli annexation or control of the West Bank and Gaza.
  • Mobilize diplomatic pressure and economic sanctions against Israel.
  • Increase support for the Palestinian Authority and Hamas.
  • Potentially sever or downgrade diplomatic and economic ties with Israel.
  • Rally other Arab and Muslim-majority countries to take a united stand against Israeli expansion.
  • Provide financial and military aid to Palestinian factions to resist Israeli occupation.

Saudi Arabia has historically been a staunch supporter of Palestinian self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Any moves by Israel to unilaterally annex or control the West Bank and Gaza would be seen as a major threat to Saudi Arabia's regional interests and its position as a leader of the Arab and Muslim world.

While the Saudi-Israeli relationship has shown signs of gradual improvement in recent years, this would likely be a red line that Saudi Arabia would be unwilling to cross. The kingdom would likely mobilize its significant diplomatic, economic, and potentially even military resources to oppose and counter any such Israeli actions.

Ultimately, Saudi Arabia would likely do everything in its power to prevent Israel from gaining direct control over the West Bank and Gaza, in order to preserve the prospect of a viable and independent Palestinian state.

Netanyahu and US president should think about it thoroughly. Or they want a Big War in Middle East? What for? To satisfy the greedy Congress? lol. :)

That is an excellent idea.
I hear there is a lot of land available in Syria.
I hear Iran is also very nice.

The exploding devices are telling the world the identity of Hezbollah operatives who have been passing themselves off as regular guys.

If the impact of the pager attack was devastating enough for Hezbollah, today’s events make it far worse. It’s not just the additional number of combatants who will have been killed or maimed. Hezbollah will now be terrified to use any piece of electronic equipment at all. Their means of communication, absolutely essential to direct their operatives to wage war, have been rendered all but useless.

The tactic of disabling the enemy in order to strike it most effectively is a military classic. Yesterday, the immediate assumption that the pager attack was a pre-emptive strike auguring an immediate all-out IDF assault on Hezbollah gave way to perplexity when no such assault occurred.

It may be that Israel hopes these electronic attacks will persuade Hezbollah to abandon its war against Israel and retreat behind the Litani river. This would be an error.

Absolutely. Cutting off their communications disables to a great extent their ability to plan and carry out more Jew-attacks.

This is a war crime. Indiscriminate killing. Children, health workers and so on. There is also an element of fascism at play. Hitler killed indiscriminately.

Can Israel sink any lower ?
Precision targeting of Hezbollah subhuman Islamist animals isn’t a war crime, it’s a service to humanity. It’s also a brilliant.

These pagers exploded in all sort of public places and killed children. That is Israeli discrimination in action.
"Kill everyone" is just terrorism. The state of Iisrael is a terrorist state.
Sure glad the misses that have been sent to Tel Aviv only kill terrorists and not civilians. Imagine a war where people are killed indiscriminately.
