The Arabs have developed a formula for expanding the size of Israel. They attack and are defeated and flee abandoning some of their land as they scurry away. They agree to a ceasefire but refuse to make peace, thus giving up their claim to the land they abandoned. This is what happened in 1948 and again in 1967 and to a lesser extent in 1973, and it is what is happening now in Lebanon.
