He was one of a kind. He had a unique style of talking directly one on one with whomever wanted to speak. He clearly inspired many in his young life, and what he has started with Turning Point is only going to keep growing. There are over 60,000 applications for new Turning Point Chapters and memberships. RIP Charlie

Have you got your plane ticket and reservations? I will catch part of it on CNN.

Well, you can tell it isn't a democrat's event, the admission is free. If Kammy were having it, it would be $100,000 a seat. You can also tell because you won't see a single democrat face in the crowd--- not a single democrat of notoriety addressing the universal sadness and waste of the assassination will be there to protest the violence.

Not a single democrat of faith holding vigil for Kirk's soul.

I wonder how many leftwing groups will protest the event burning the flag while trashing memorials to Charlie? I wonder how many leftists will try to crash the event with bombs and incendiary devices?

Too bad: Steve Colbert will have to wait until the following night to trash the event on CBC 'comedy.'

Kirk is the mlk of our time

I have to admit, Charlie was no big whoop to me. He was just one more young conservative blogger I follow of about 30 whom, I first noticed 2-3 years ago when I started catching parts of his noon 2 hour podcast daily on my favorite news.

In the last 2-3 years, I noted Charlie's receding hairline and wondered if he'd be bald one day.

I actually caught part of his pre-taped show 30 minutes before he was shot.

But the guy always had a point and made sense. He really connected with youth and had gone far for a 31 year old.

I just hope they make Tyler Robinson watch the airing of the entire funeral noting the 100,000 people there, an historic figure for the funeral of even a top official much less a kid many had not heard of, the many, many people who've lost their jobs over Kirk's murder, and the fact that TP USA has grown by leaps and bounds in an explosion of new interest and chapter applications, then remind Tyler that it is all thanks to HIS ******* LOUSY EFFORTS to silence the Right.

Good job, buddy.

Not going, I could drive there but that's too many people and too much traffic.
I don't know. Being a true believer and within driving distance, you might actually get something out of the communal experience of actually being there, surrounded by like-minded individuals in that moment.

A true believer in what? I'm not a Christian and while I admired and respected Charlie Kirk very much, I didn't agree with all of his opinions. But his ability and willingness to communicate with people who hated him made him unique and why he made such a difference.

If you hitched the wagon up to Betsy right now and started heading west on I-40, I bet you could be there by first light in the morning.

Nah. I have driven out there before, but would never do it for a funeral, especially a political funeral, no matter who was being buried, and it is unlikely I would gain much from the communal experience. I do think many on here, particularly struck, (in a personal way) by the event of his assassination, might very well gain solace, if close enough to attend.

You never know. A couple years ago, I flew to England in January to attend a funeral, flew first class, cost me 10K there and back but was worth it. Met many interesting and very notable people while there.

Saw the Rendlesham Forest, and even ended up visiting the Stonehenge.

What's amazing is how someone can be called a fascist when they hand you the mic.

Would it hard to call many of them out as Losers in need of a life of their own?

Charlie Kirk was not as popular alive as he is dead.

15th post
It starts tomorrow. I'm sure a lot of you disgusting pigs on here will be celebrating this, but from now on each and every one of you is going to get an ignore from me so I don't have to see your filth. I think that it starts at 11:00 AM EST.
