I most definitely see the point that you are making here, but at the end of the day, people can respond in such a way to any move that is made which includes the decision to fire that lady. Once word is out about her getting terminated, threats and boycotts can then happen due to that occurrence taking place as well. In other words, the decision to fire her over something like this may have only made things worse when every person on this planet has the ability to grow a support group of people once that person's name makes the headlines for any reason.I agree with you, but the problem is once a video like this goes viral, and thousands of people contact the employer telling them they'll be boycotting their product or services, and even threatening them with violence, or making a scene at their company, then the employer has to start thinking about the other employees safety, and their company's bottom-line.
