Yeah it seems to me the effect of a produced theatrical scene is aimed at the audience, not the actors. Actually the actors are the only people who can't ingest the scene by virtue of their knowing the whole process from the inside. Their makeup going on, their stage marks, waiting around for resets, the director yelling CUT and everybody having lunch -- that's what makes up the actor's experience. The illusion is only for everybody who wasn't an actor in it. If anything it's like an immunity.

I thought I explained pretty well why I don't think kids would be scarred from this. The fact that they know it is not real, that there are producers, directors, family members, friends, etc., all around them, and that they are told this is not real and just playing. Unless the child was led to believe this was really happening, I don't see how it would scar him for life. Here is my first post on the topic in case you missed it. I am not saying it is good or okay. I am simply disagreeing that most children would be "scarred for life" over it. Is the child who starred in The Omen scarred for life?

First of all, why are THEY jerks? Racial cleansing against blacks? What on earth are you talking about? I don't care what excuses you want to make, that video is in very poor taste and THAT is putting it mildly.
