Our Solar/Alt Energy Future

It's coming quicker than people think. The solutions are there.

What do you do at night or on cloudy days. You have to buy surplus power if available and at a huge cost. look at all the wasted land you need. Fossil fuels and nuclear doesnt have these problems. Solar costs so much in actual use that the government has to support it. Solar cant meet the demand of AI and data banks. Let the idiots build it and wreck their economies. Manufacturing will flock to America with reliable low cxost energy and its already happening.

lolololol!!!!!

They kill fish and whales, put carbon fibers in the air that end up in your lungs and food, fall apart in 10 years, cost too much to build, and they are ugly. In 10 years they will all be scrap.

What do they do at night and on cloudy days when there is power shortage?

There's wind, hydro, nuclear and battery back up on cloudy days. Also solar isn't zero on cloudy day but maybe 30-40% that of a sunny day.

The morons who argue against solar in this thread parrot the Idiot Trump and say "what happens on cloudy days? Your electricity won't work"

There is nothing wrong with electricity. Used for proper uses. What will you do when it is terrible weather for weeks on end. Where is the lobby supporting you? You know the lobbyists are eager to force us to use solar and wind. When I report that Democrats long ago mastered the art of forcing us using laws, this is a good example.

There goes the argument that it takes too long and gas is fast. lol

That does not solve the weight problem. Batteries are far heavier that a tank of gasoline. Also, does not fix the problem present EV cars have. The current cars take far longer to charge up.

I think shutting down nuclear was a mistake. Germany would probably be 15-20% fossil fuels right now if they hadn't.
