Being an active working adult leaves zero time to help cherish and sustain a family much less sit there and cheer on ones country. Life is a hectic rush when two spouses have to work all day and then feed kids, etc. It's a whole different beast today. How do you expect people to engage in their country when they are too busy slaving away? All of it sounds nice and fanciful but it isn't realistic.
