Diversity is a beautiful idea, but it does not work.

It is no one's fault that this country has so many different groups.

In 1619, some people were forced to come here and work for free.

Today we are all feeling the effects of that year.

We still refer to African Americans and Asian Americans and Hispanic Americans as minorities. But in most cities, they are now the MAJORITY.

Diversity might work if Caucasians remained 90% of the population, and the other ethnicities together constituted 10%. But population numbers never stay fixed.

In a hundred years, the vast majority of Americans are projected to be African Americans and especially Hispanic Americans, with a minority of Caucasians and even fewer Asian Americans.

Some people feel that at that future time, American society will be more harmonious.

Other people (sadly) disagree.
