Orlando Shooter More Likely Not Extremist Anti-Islam Convert--But Likely Delusional About To Die(?)!

He was a wife beating homophobe. A psychotic nut job acting out his violent fantasy.
Exactly. He is not an example of religious zeal; he is an example of twisted psychology. That does not exclude the possibility of including excessive religious zeal in the category of twisted psychology.
Dear there4eyeM and BlindBoo
You don't get it, do you?
The negative influences **Prey** on such ppl they can manipulate about joining and turning against the US

Why can't it be both.
YES this is an unstable and abusive person who acted out of personal hate
And
YES this person and actions are part of war tactics and attacks by political groups.

His violent fantasy included pledging his allegiance ISIS. It is not a war tactic. He was not a soldier. He was not a warrior. He was a low life criminal scumbag who obviously bordered on insanity before finally succumbing to his madness.

So there appears to be consensus building that ISIS has no international standing, in or out of Islam, as a separate sect of that religion. Unlike the Trump apparent policy, there is no consensus building to keep people born in State of New York from entering the rest of the Unites States(?)--there are nutcase people, who are anti-immigration, spreading hate among all peoples of the world, using that kind of tactic. A basis is not allowing Jews immigration--or even emigration, from Europe.

Then, in an unrelated matter to terrorism, apparently there was frequent gay-bar attender who shot and killed 49 people at a gay club, in Orlando, FL. There is growing consensus about that. The home of the shooter was normal USA. There was even a wife and child. The likely lslamic wife is cooperating with the investigation. There was nothing special about it that showed any connection to Afghanistan or to Islam.

Over at GOP, Speaker Ryan has ruled any Gun Control legislation, out of order in the House of Representatives. There is some consensus among House Republicans that mass shootings are to be greeted with silence(?), and with inaction as usual. The House sarcastically observed a moment of silent, Democrats dissenting by leaving the chamber. Effectively, the House Republicans support mass shootings, and especially if they can be alleged to be based in propaganda organizations, Like Nazi SS, or new SS, ISIS(?). Clearly ISIS is not European. Clearly it is also not Jewish. It even did a fairly credible blitzkrieg in Northern Iraq. They would be said a secular organization of the usual propaganda lies. To become somebody, you become nobody, including via suicide.

"Making ISIS Great Again," thanks to GOP: Highlights the losses now being inflicted by the Clinton-Kerry-Obama Administration counter-offensives. The Clinton-Kerry-Administration Middle East counter to the GOP would be better called, "Making America Welcome Again," in the Middle East. ISIS is in retreat on the ground, but in the ascendancy in Republican speeches.

Before that, there was the Bush Administration, of the basis-free attacks on entire nation-states, heavily Moslem in population. Less than two dozen suicidal nobodies died in the assault on 9/11, not connected to ISIS.

(Lands of Many Nations also understand concept, USA, "U Stupid Assholes," even before Bush-Cheney!)

Dear mascale That's fine if you want to call ISIS a secular entity. Would you still hold their recruiters responsible for luring kidnapping and killing youth who travel across countries to join them? What about the women raped as sex slaves to produce more followers they can hold hostage? Does any of that change by calling ISIS secular instead of theocratic?

""Making ISIS Great Again," or appearing to look like a credible sect of a giant worldwide religion, serves only Republican and ISIS global interests. There is a kind of death dance embrace between the two. ISIS needs the recognition for recruiting. The Republicans have nothing else to offer at all, foreign or domestic.
