Time magazine is calling it one of the best inventions of the year. What do you think of it?

What is not unique is the video capturing of text, character recognition, and word to speech conversion
What is unique is that it is done in a small convenient device.

I think what is more impressive is their planned device that will do lip reading and use that information to filter noise out of the actual voice. The device would work if the person is more or less facing you which is pretty much what a lip reader requires anyway.
