I'm titling the thread this way to not bias results. Please take this survey, no login required: Opinions on time worked vs intelligence

Now, we can debate which is better. The survey has two graphs which can be described as "a positive correlation between time worked and intelligence, and a negative correlation".

There are actually many complex implications of a negative correlation. Currently, society would be better described with the graph that shows a positive correlation. The most obvious benefit we could expect if there was a negative correlation is that smart people would have more children than they do at current; hopefully, more children than stupid people.

We do expect world population to level out, though these projections assume increasing GDP for poor countries, which has in the past reliably caused decreased birth rates. So smart people having more children does not automatically mean a population crisis and something like war to bring down the numbers.
