Only Some Explanations Or Theories Allowed

1.In a recent thread about economic theory, in which it was shown that government economists, while totally wrong, continue to proclaim the same policies. One of our pals, DustyInfinity, noted the oddity:

I'm surprised so many of the esteemed left economists are declared collectivists… It is beyond me why failed philosophy would be held in high esteem. For some reason, they can't let it go, they can't learn from mistakesThe Economy Fallacy

2. What is glaring, is that their errors are rarely pointed out, and, when they come up with further nonsense, most folks just nod and stroke their chin without questioning. Many on our side, the reasonable side, don’t offer possible explanations because they would be ridiculed out of hand. Yet the other side has no problem most absurd and ludicrous….as is the case of the economists.

Is there an explanation for the continued advancing of incorrect ideas and policies?

Yup….there is if individuals weren’t afraid to voice them.

3. And not just in economics. The most fundamental question for science is ‘what was before the universe’? Dennis Prager, writing about theology, notes: “In my lifetime alone, science went from positing a universe that always existed to positing a universe that had a beginning (the Big Bang). So, in just one generation [the Bible], in describing a beginning to the universe, went from conflicting with science to agreeing with science….[The Bible] …accurately depicts human beings as the last creation.”

4. A large and powerful contingent of scientists, in advancing atheistic neo-Marxism, frequently admit that they will never give religion, the Bible, the credit it deserves. “We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs,” the geneticist Richard Lewontin remarked equably in The New York Review of Books, “in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories.” We are to put up with science’s unsubstantiated just-so stories because, Lewontin explains, “we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door!”

5. There is prominent scientist, Lawrence Krauss, "... an American theoretical physicist and cosmologist...known as an advocate of the public understanding of science, ...and works to reduce the impact of superstition and religious dogma in pop culture. He is also the author of several bestselling books, includingThe Physics of Star Trek and A Universe from Nothing."
Lawrence M. Krauss - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

Krauss has said "we all, literally, emerged from quantum nothingness..."
Clearly an attempt to avoid the central question of where did the universe come from. Where are the quantum rules that imply a universe that must appear out of the void? Can any come up with a few examples where something has come from nothing?

Would it be out of context to have him say “Heaven forbid, we credit a Creator!!”???

And, from reviews of Krauss' book, " A Universe From Nothing,"...

"....at the end of the book he has given up trying to explain his hypothesis. Throughout the book he admits that Something can come from Nothing only if there is Something inherent in the Nothingness.

...Krauss claims that "in quantum gravity, universes can, and indeed always will, spontaneously appear from nothing" This is yet again another fabrication,....

Krauss mixes opinion with pseudo-science to fool his cult that the universe popped into existence from nowhere with no cause (the epitome pseudo-science, anti-science and religious belief)."

Of course, the ancient Greek, Parmenides, was correct: nihil fit ex nihilo... "out of nothing, nothing [be]comes."

The fake science dunces are willing to accept anything...even things that obviate all of real science as long as religion is pushed out of the discussion. Only views that obviate religion, and advance Marxism, are acceptable.
You are political, but science is not your strength.

Was there anything in the post that you can dispute, refute, claim is incorrect?

No?

Excellent.
First of all, science and politics are two different fields; the former is objective and the latter is not, as you demonstrate.

“Something from nothing” is a bit confusing, especially to thos who know little physics. In common/simple terms, its use of “nothing” is a misnomer, but it’s a different matter in quantum mechanics.

In quantum field theory, the quantum vacuum state is the quantum state with the lowest possible energy. Generally, it contains no physical particles.
However, the vacuum state is not truly empty but instead contains fleeting electromagnetic waves that pop into and out of existence.

"First of all, science and politics are two different fields "

First of all, let's expand your education into the realm of reality
Antonio Gramsci, Italian Marxist theoretician and founding member and one-time leader of the Communist Party of Italy. Gramsci’s motto is that of liberals today: “that all life is "political."

And, a corollary to that....when you combine science and politics, all you get is politics.

So you are convinced that the universe didn't exist and then, suddenly did exist....and this is confirmed by science?

Pretty clear you learned you science in the neo-Marxist government schooling precincts.

One more example of the indelibility of indoctrination.
So very sad.

[The Bible] …accurately depicts human beings as the last creation.”
That may be news to the coronavirus that causes Covid-19.

It appears you are ready to compare your level of sophistication with a virus.

I certainly can understand you denying that mankind is the highest level of creation.....

After all, one can only judge reality using oneself as the basis of same, you are far from that highest level.

You obviously have a big hard-on for Marxism even though you’re a chic? :)

I don’t give a shit about Marxism versus socialism versus capitalism, as long as we have a real democracy that’s fair to all.

Regarding religion versus science, that’s another issue. Science rules; religion is an anthropological relic

The philosophical and political import of this exposition is that Marxism has influenced our politics, our civilization, our pop culture and schooling to such a degree that the most absurd pronouncements are now de rigueur. Belief in same requires a disregard for human life, and for the basic traditions of Western Civilization.

10. The instruction manual for Western Civilization, the Bible, explained how to decide whether to embrace the Judeo-Christian faith, or the Satanic one of Karl Marx.

How shall we judge with is better?
From Matthew 7:15–20 (KJV):
Ye shall know them by their fruit. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

What are those ‘fruits’?
The century of slaughter....the history of the 20th century.

“…a Dutch personality dedicated several columns of his theological magazine to minimizing the importance of the discovery "Well," he says, "Marx may have indulged in black magic, but this does not count for much. All men are sinners, all men have evil thoughts. Let us not be alarmed at this." It is true that all men are sinners, but not all are criminals. All men are sinners, but some are murderers and some are righteous judges who pass judgment on them. The crimes of communism are unequaled. What other political system has killed sixty million men in half a century?' Another sixty million have been killed in Red China. (Some estimates run much higher.)

There are degrees of sinfulness and criminality. The enormity of crime is a measure of the intensity of Satanic influence on the founder of modern communism. The sins of Marxism, like those of Nazism, surpass the ordinary. They are Satanic indeed.” Wurmbrand, Op.Cit.

When describing the genocide carried out by Bolsheviks, Militant Secularists, this was the euphemism:
you've got to crack a few eggs to make an omelette

Eggs?

September 11, 1932, Stalin wrote to his assistant, 'We must take steps so we do not lose the Ukraine.' So, 1932-1933, all food supplies in the Ukraine were confiscated.
Those who tried to leave were shot, those who remained, starved to death. Men, women, children. They died tortuously slowly.
NKVD squads collected the dead. They received 200 grams of bread for every dead body they delivered; often they didn't wait until the victim was dead.

What 'god' was Karl Marx, the Soviet Bolsheviks, their scions in the Democrat Party, following?

Re-post that in the sort of civil language an adult uses if you'd like a response.

Do you believe that science and faith are mutually exclusive?

On what evidence do you make that claim?
__________

Faith and Reason are compatible in some souls and not in others. Each individual gets to decide---in this country anyway, thanks to Thomas Jefferson's Wall of Separation between Church and State.

The Marxists would like to end that Freedom. One very good reason, out of many---to vote Republican.

What part did Marxism play in the 20 million deaths of WW1, aside from the Russians withdrawing from the carnage and suing for peace? I believe it was a war between Christian countries so I'd say that it was a war in the basic traditions of Western Civilization.

You obviously have a big hard-on for Marxism even though you’re a chic? :)
I started a thread that LITERALLY asked, "is Trump the only thing standing between us and communism?", and 42 of them voted "yes". So far.

They've been driven into such a state of fear and terror that there is simply no communicating with them. They are dead serious on this.

I don’t give a shit about Marxism versus socialism versus capitalism, as long as we have a real democracy that’s fair to all.

Is obvious that you don't have a clue about democracy, either. Democracy is merely majority rule. It has nothing to do with fairness. That is the job of a constitutional republic.

That’s the narrative that Trumpsters (not real Republicans with integrity) are trying to push.
Like Putin trolls, they wanted Sanders or Warren to win DNC nomination, so they could paint the Democratic Party as Stalin-type communists & scare their 2016 voters to continue supporting Trump, no matter how much he screwed things up.
Scare tactics, even stupid ones, seem to work on the naive Republicans.

Even though Biden, the moderate, won the DNC nomination, the Russians and Trumpsters are STILL trying to push that extreme ridiculous narrative! Just look at the crap PoliticalChic cuts/pastes from her political employers.
It’s sad to see so many dummies fall for it.

All they're actually doing is making each other more terrified and paranoid. No one else buys this stuff. But Trumpsters really do.

When I talk to a Trumpster in real life (several of my clients are), you can see the terror in their faces. They really do believe this.

We need to counter the scare tactics by Trump trolls with OFFICIAL agenda items from Biden’s DNC Platform.

The platform is divided into 10 main sections, covering pandemic response, the economy, health care, criminal justice, climate, immigration, education, foreign policy, voting rights, and identity-related rights issues.
Here’s a sampling:

Health care
• Make Covid-19 testing, treatment, and eventual vaccines widely available and free to everyone
• Create a public option for health insurance available to all Americans that would cover all primary care with no co-payments, and auto-enroll the lowest-income Americans in it without premiums
• Empower Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices

Economy
• Raise the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour
• Significantly increase the Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit
• Make make public colleges and universities tuition-free for students whose families earn less than $125,000, and community colleges tuition-free for all
• Take aggressive steps to increase the supply of housing, including affordable housing

Criminal justice
• Overhaul the criminal justice system “from top to bottom”
• Decriminalize marijuana use, but leave the choice of whether to fully legalize it for recreational purposes up to individual states

Climate change
• Work to eliminate carbon pollution from power plants by 2035
• Invest in infrastructure and clean energy

Immigration and foreign policy
• Prioritize alternatives to detention for migrants
• “Bring our forever wars to a responsible end,” but keep a small military presence in Iraq to “ensure the lasting defeat of ISIS”
• End US support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen
• Continue an “ironclad” commitment to Israel’s security, while supporting a negotiated two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Science has given us a better understanding of the big bang theory. Once the big bang happened, science can provide answers. What our understanding cannot do, is inform us what happened before the big bang.
