"Only Criminals Carry Guns On Our Streets"--Donald Trump

It is an interesting comment on our times when citizens support government murder. Harkens back to the old saying from Revolutionary Times, liberty dies to thunderous applause.

Then explain why. Alex Pretti left his job at the VA week(s) before joining the Minneapolis insurgency against ICE.
Was video taped a week prior to his death actively protesting, identification and his CCL on his person and carried his pistol on the day of his untimely demise?

I'm guessing you also came down in defense of FBI at Ruby Ridge....

Yes, liberty dies to thunderous applause.

We all understand that in the USA, we have a Republican run Federal Government, along with Republican run states in the majority, but the press is dominated by Democrats and supporters.

Minnesota has some draconian gun laws. We now have a vision of Nurses there armed to the teeth.
A single 9mm Sig is what you call "armed to the teeth"?
Walking around hunting down federal agents. You in England sure come up with wild ideas.
My what an imagination you have.
He showed he had guns on him. When did he show the cops he had legal permits?
Be specific man, who showed what to whom??

30-50 rounds ..... could do a lot of damage at a school.
More theatrics from Dildode.

Many semi-autos have magazine capacities up to 15 bullets. One reloads a semi auto by inserting a whole magazine not individual bullets.

Now I will say that I'd be personally content with a single fully filled magazine myself but that's a matter of choice, two magazines is hardly armed to the teeth, they are small easy to carry and there are holsters that include space for a spare magazine, these are for sale all over the place and I've never heard a republican express concern about their availability.

If I had such a holster I'd probably carry the spare simply because I can, why not? one has the right unless you are now suddenly eager for gun control laws :auiqs.jpg:

Would you argue that people who buy a holster like that are potential terrorists or school shooters?

Depends on whether or not they spit on and kick LEO vehicles.
I don't think you're average Joe Six-pack does things like that.

No shit?

You don't know Jack Shit about firearms do you.

It's quite evident.

Try me, I already corrected some Americans here who claimed only US citizens can legally own guns, adding you to the list is fine with me.

What's evident is your are bravely emerging from the closet, you actually want to tighten up our gun laws, frankly I applaud you, and suggest you vote democrat next time.

Sadly you had to resort to AI for your answers. Like I said, you know Jack Shit about firearms.

I'd be thrilled to see where you can quote me as saying I'd like to see our gun laws tightened.

It is reported he had so much ammo he could execute two dozen citizens.
Minnesota law says one must have a permit. But if it is hidden, who knows? He never produced a permit, but the cops saw he had the 9mm pistol you named.

I made no such claim. I see no post from you expressing disapproval at the official statements, I therefore inferred you agree with them, do you? Was he intending to massacre law enforcement? did he brandish is his gun? was he a domestic terrorist?
But I think signs of aggression include more than those (brandishing..etc). If he spat on a LEO vehicle, and similar things then the LE would be justified in reaching the conclusion that he had aggressive intention and could go on to commit greater violence. And if they sincerely believed that their lives would be endangered, then yes they could use deadly force to neutralize such a threat.

Hah! Pretti was carrying three magazines with a total of 51 rounds.
Minneapolis on duty Police are required to carry is 1 magazine in the pistol plus 2 spare magazines on the belt (3 total).
Strange why would Pretti carry the same configuration of ammo? What was he preparing for.? Was it a shoot out with ICE Agents?

Why was he referred to as a domestic terrorist and looking to kill ICE officers by the Trump administration?

None of those offenses are punishable by death.
You live in a gun crazy country, cops etc.. are gonna be on high alert and quick to shoot. Take a gun to a protest, you might as well sign your own death warrant. All that's irrelevant because only the dumb go to protests in the first place.

Really? The very first protest I've ever attended in my life was the "I will not comply" rally held on the Washington State capitol campus in December 2014. Pretty much everyone there was armed, most openly carrying long guns, probably about 1,000 people showed up and there were only 2 WA State Patrol vehicles visible at the event. One on the grass in front of the entrance to the building itself, the other was parked on the street opposite of the first vehicle.

The whole point of the event was to openly violate the new law that had just been passed, violate it in the open and in the presence of law enforcement. Quite a few of the law enforcement agencies in state publicly indicated they would not be enforcing this "bad" law.

(These images were taken at the December 2014 protest where hundreds openly carried long guns at the WA State Capitol in defiance of I-594.)

The following month I marched for the first time in my life with Black Lives Matter in downtown Seattle. There was a massive law enforcement presence, but we had bicycle officers who escorted us from Westlake Park to the federal building on 2nd Street. As we approached each intersection, a couple of the officers rode ahead and blocked traffic so we could pass. I was marching in commemoration of Sandra Bland and the thing I remember most about the logistics of the event were the photographers running ahead of us and photographing us. I remember thinking at the time "well that's another database I'm now in".

Your lack of life experiences in certain areas doesn't mean that others who have braved the potential consequences resulting from standing up for those wronged by our government and/or others, doesn't make you superior, or even right. Most people will not fault you for choosing to let others do the hard work that you're not willing to do, but not all of them will allow you to bad mouth those who risk their safety, lives, reputations, and many times livelihoods to bring attention to the wrongs committed by those in power in our country and who hold sway over our lives.

trump was talking about ICE
In what respect was Trump talking about ICE. They have lawful authority to openly carry a weapon. And us it.

They just have a really bad habit of not using it properly. Pointing a loaded weapon at people not posing an imminent threat or grievous bodily harm of death to them, sweeping crowds of people with their weapon while their finger is on the trigger, etc.
