"Only Criminals Carry Guns On Our Streets"--Donald Trump

Perhaps the officer who removed Pretti's gun should have been aware of that.
Perhaps..........LOL
How do you know what they thought? did they tell you?
It's called training...........
how do you know he didn't assume there was no round chambered or something?
You always treat any gun as if its loaded until you verify, yourself, it isn't.
Besides even if there is truth to that claim how do you know the officer didn't simply mishandle it?
how do you know he did?
I assumed you trusted those in charge like Noem and Bovino, was I wrong to assume that?
It's not my position to trust.

One should always do that, whether he did I don't know.
how do you know he did?
Because the fault so far as I can find out is that early (2017 or before) P320 models could discharge if the trigger was even slightly moved while the frame was knocked or jolted.

One should NEVER touch the trigger of a loaded gun unless one intends to fire it, hence this dingbat who escaped punishment for brandishing her gun and having her finger on the trigger while pointing it at people!

So do you accept or not, the official statements that said Pretti intended to massacre law enforcement and that he was a domestic terrorist and that he brandished his handgun?

Picture shows the 'dingbat' in obvious fear for her life and safety....in a Castle Doctrine state nonetheless.........your handlers need to better inform you before you attempt to debate issues on a website.

One should always do that, whether he did I don't know.
So in the mere seconds between seeing and declaring 'gun', then quickly removing it from Pretti's holster, he had time to do that?

Jan 17th...........

She's brandishing a gun, and has her finger on the trigger, its sad that I (from Britain) know far more about United States gun law than you.

You'll notice from all the footage we have of Pretti that he neither brandished his gun or pointed it at anyone.

AI isn't the law.... Nice try.

Castle Doctrine says you don't have to retreat......having one's finger on the trigger is a legal step in defending the castle.

He shouldn't touch the trigger.
That hasn't been determined yet has it?

You previously claimed I said that with no proof, still waiting.

You need to be better briefed.

Have you ever actually owned a gun? If you had you have read the manual that comes with it, the section labelled "gun safety", e.g. Smith & Wesson.

Well that's the explanation for why that gun unexpectedly fires, so its a reasonable inference.

I made no such claim. I see no post from you expressing disapproval at the official statements, I therefore inferred you agree with them, do you? Was he intending to massacre law enforcement? did he brandish is his gun? was he a domestic terrorist?

You're scared to answer truthfully, never mind, that's nothing new around here with right wing extremists.
You need to be better briefed.
You're as dumb as the people you voted for.

Stop this. Stop trying to give meaning to the things Trump says that he doesn't mean.

The man was trying to help a woman up off the ground, who was shoved by an ICE Agent. The only reason they knew he had a gun was when they started eating n him. What he likely meant was that when ICE comes to your city, expect them to break the law and violate your constitutional rights.
Clearly not what is intended for ICE. They are ordered to remove illegal aliens who have also committed criminal acts. Keep drinking the blue Kool Aid.

What was the criminal act committed by the nurse? Attempting to give aid to a person shoved to the ground by brownshirts?

One more time. Alex J. Pretti specifically chose to carry a legal pistol without identification and his Concealed Carry license.
That is illegal.
FYI...:
It is illegal to carry a handgun in public without both your physical permit and a valid government-issued photo ID.
  • Mandatory Documents: While carrying a pistol, you must have your Permit to Carry (often called a CCL or PCP) and a valid driver’s license or state ID in your immediate possession at all times.
  • Lawful Demand: You are legally required to display both the permit and ID upon the lawful demand of a peace officer.
  • Duty to Disclose: If a peace officer asks, you must truthfully disclose whether you are currently carrying a firearm.
Resisting Police Authority
It is illegal to resist or obstruct a peace officer in the performance of their official duties.
  • Obstruction of Legal Process: Under Minnesota Statute § 609.50, intentionally obstructing, resisting, or interfering with an officer is a crime.
  • Forms of Resistance: This includes physically struggling, refusing to be handcuffed, or running away (fleeing on foot or in a vehicle).
  • Severity: Penalties range from a misdemeanor to a felony, especially if the resistance creates a risk of death or bodily harm to others.

Why did Pretti choose to walk around without ID and his CCL while carrying a loaded and defective pistol, along with two loaded magazines and then involve himself in obstruction of ICE and the arrest of the woman?

The only ones drinking Kool-Aid are you MAGATS.
